Leather is soft and pliable yet very protective of finger tips. I shoot 70” recurve 35#@28” with 31” draw so pounds is more like 40#. Long slender fingers (I’m 6-4, 230#) … I did not have to trim and fits just right. Excellent tab. To be honest, it’s hard to mess up an archery tab and this one does what it’s supposed to do. I would like to see a bit more backbone in the tab; this one has a tendency to flick off the string and slap your cheek if you get a little to close. The stitching is a bit loose, but it is hand-stitched moosehide. The one thing I really take issue with is the paracord finger loop; there are classier ways to take care of that bit that would look fit better. Leather with a leather button, for one. All in all, though, not a bad finger tab.
