Love this backdrop stand! I was worried that the telescoping crossbar would be weak, but it's very strong. It makes setting up and breaking down a backdrop very easy. It easily holds the widest Savage seamless paper backdrop (107"). I've used this many times and I've never had any concerns about it not holding the backdrop. It easily fits on any light stand you have in your studio. It's also remarkably light for being so strong. Totally worth the money spent and so much better than the backdrop crossbars that come in pieces and lock into place pinching your skin every time! Highly recommend adding this to your studio gear.

This Rod is easy to adjust and is strong enough to hold the large muslin backdrop.

I’ve used this pole for multiple shoots, and it has worked perfectly with all of my backdrops. It’s sturdy and reliable, holding everything in place without any issues. Extending it to the maximum length is quick and smooth, and collapsing it for storage is just as easy. A solid piece of gear that makes setup and teardown effortless.

At first this thing was great but as you can see here it didn’t last a year.

Using this with C-Stands to support a 12' tall backdrop, it is 9' 7" at the mount holes, so not quite the 10' it advertises, but it is made well and collapses down quite nicely. So far no issues with it.
