Purchased for a gift. He really liked it. He made us drinks using it, and it was nice how the shaker did not feel cold while he was shaking it but the drinks came out with that ice layer floating on top. Top screws on, so no leaks, or risk of the top flying off. It had the built in measure in the top. He was able to gets two beverages from one batch. Easy to clean. A nice gift for the cocktail enthusiast in your life.

I love, love, love this shaker. It is insulated like the popular drink cups with double stainless type walls. The best thing is that you can shake it and shake it and shake it and your hands don't get cold because of the double walls. Besides that, the top is a measuring cup that's marked off in 1/2 oz, 1 oz, 2 oz, 3 oz, 4 oz, 5 oz and 6 oz if you fill it to the rim. You can mix your drink right inside the top with no need to clean up a separate jigger or measuring cup. You can just rinse it out and empty it so it's super easy to clean. It is great quality and heavy duty metal - not whimpy thin stuff. The lid and the top part of rubber rings to make the seal tight. The first time I used it, I made the mistake of tightening the top too tight and had a bit of trouble with the top sticking and couldn't get it open. I learned that you don't have to tighten it super tight - just lightly hand tighten and it will still seal up properly and not leak. It is plenty big enough to make two good size martinis which is fine for most purposes. I do wish they made a larger size one but I like to entertain and make more than two martinis at a time. This is fine for most everyone I'm sure. It can easily hold 10 oz and ice with plenty of air space for shaking.

I bartended back in the day and this wouldn't be good for that application, as it takes time to assemble, disassemble and clean. But for the home bartender, this is ideal. Very well fabricated. You must hand wash and dry. Screwing the pieces together takes some "attention" but it makes cocktail pouring easy. The interior has measuring lines, in 1 oz increments, no shot glasses needed. The rubber gasket makes it leak proof. And, it's insulated, which is either a good thing, or not. Again, when serving in a bar, you want to be sure you have shaken and chilled it adequately, by the coolness felt on the shaker. Superior construction, would highly recommend. I hope that the seals are replaceable through the manufacturer, if needed.

If you are someone who enjoys a nice whiskey or Boston sour and are sick of having shakers leak all over your hands during the dry shake, then this is the cocktail shaker for you! This thing is truly a genius invention, particularly for drinks that are best enjoyed extra frothy. My partner and I love that we can make two Boston sours in it at once due to its larger capacity. With this awesome shaker, gone are the days of having citrusy and eggy hands from a leaky shaker and feeling like your arm is going to fall off from shaking up two separate drinks with dry and wet shakes. Prior to buying, I did read some reviews that the shaker pours very slowly; however, we did not have this problem. The shaker is also narrower than others, making it comfortable to hold in your hands and the insulation is definitely a plus as well. Thank you, Elevated Craft! Expensive? Uh-huh. Overhyped? Nah. I work in the industry, and this shaker is the best I've found, especially for home use. Been using it for over a year. If I were in a high-volume environment, it's a little too fussy to be fast. Plus, it screws closed, which takes time. But at home? It has all you will need. The measurements on the inside work great (although I still prefer to use my OXO jigger). The double-wall construction doesn't turn your hands into Cold-Miser when you're shaking with heavy ice. It's light. It doesn't fingerprint. It looks sexy. And most importantly, IT DOES NOT RUST. So many shakers eventually rust, even if you take care of them. This one shows no evidence of that. My only gripe? The removable gasket on the inside cap fits a little loose, and is easy to lose. I appreciate the ease of cleaning it--WHICH IS A HUGE FACTOR for me in any culinary item--but would love to see an improved approach to the gasket, and perhaps a little more rock-solid approach to the screw-shut feature. Otherwise? Hats off to the folks at Elevated Craft.

Let's cut to the chase - this thing is expensive! There are numerous options out there that cost a fraction of the price of this thing. What I like about this is that your hand never becomes uncomfortably cold while shaking. What I don't like about this is that your hand never becomes uncomfortably cold while shaking. Don't the above statements cancel each other out? Maybe. The cold factor actually helps the person shaking know when to stop shaking and provides insights into the dilution taking place in the shaker. The double walls prevent this intimate knowledge from being more obvious. What NEVER happens with this style shaker though, is the top getting stuck on so tight you need shop tools to remove it. The threaded tops twist on and off with ease, and THAT is why we reach for this one over the others that suction in place and make you feel weak and helpless when attempting to take them apart. These are well made, easy to clean, do not spot or stain, and make less noise. Would buy again, but, sheeeesh, they are expensive which is where the 4 stars come into play.

I love this shaker. This was a splurge, but I am pleased with my purchase. The shaker is larger than I expected, which is a good thing. I love the measure in the inside lid and my hands are not freezing. No spills and no mess. Definitely a high quality shaker. This should be the last one I purchase.

Honestly it’s so great, I can’t believe I didn’t buy it sooner. Even though it’s pricey, it’s well worth the spend if you enjoy making cocktails - definitely invest in this!

Den Shaker gebe ich fünf. Sterne ist zwar teuer, aber für seinen Preis lohnt es sich wenn man gute Shaker braucht für Cocktails dann empfehle ich diesen Shaker hier.

It’s a must buy, I would say. Amazing product, excellent finish. Bit expensive, but worth it. No leakage, flask doesn’t get cold from outside & it’s fun to shake!
