This towel is great and I love the pocket design
I ordered this towel as my yoga mat was like a giant slip and slide. The pocket design was great and fit my yoga mat perfectly. I also loved the added grip on the bottom of the towel as it ensured my towel stayed in place. Unfortunately, after washing several times on the gentle cycle and line drying it, it started ripping at the seam. I initially reviewed it as a one star, as I felt it shouldn't have fallen apart so quickly. Hours later I received a message from the seller, apologizing for the defect and offering to ship me a new towel as it shouldn't have happened. WOW! Talk about great customer service! I'm amending to a 5 star review, as I really do love this towel and it works perfectly. I seriously sweat A TON during my classes and this towel stays in place and allows me the grip I need for poses. Also, that is GREAT customer service to reach out so quickly and offer a fast resolution. Order this towel; you won't be disappointed!

Great for Hot Yoga
I've recently gotten super into hot yoga. Like, went from never doing yoga to going 4-5 times a week. The last few months have been a learning curve when it comes to all products, but this towel stands out the most. The corner pockets are THE BEST. I don't know why more companies don't do this to be honest. It isn't the softest yoga towel I've ever used, but it actually helps you stay in place. I've tried the super plush "super absorbent" ones that are out there and I honestly don't understand the point of the softness if you're slowly sliding forward while just doing a basic downward dog. Only downside: IT SHRINKS. This towel is amazing and perfect, just don't dry it! I accidentally shrunk my first one but the customer service was amazing and worked with me on it. I actually still use it - I lay it on top of my mat and though it can't wrap around the corners anymore it still keeps me in place :) Long story short: This towel stays in place on your mat and helps you stay in place on your towel, letting you focus on you. JUST BUY IT ALREADY.

Small sweet spot for grippiness between dry and wet
I was really excited about this towel because I naturally sweat excessively from my hands and feet (hyperhydrosis) and my plain old yoga mat has always had issues with slipping. However, the grippiness is only really functional in a small band of dampness between dry and wet. As others have noted, the towel is pretty slippery when your hands and feet are dry. I expected this and used the included spray bottle to lightly mist the towel with water. For the next 15 minutes everything seemed peachy. Then as my hands and feet started to sweat profusely as they do, the mat started to get slippery again. This was during Vinyasa practice, not Bikram/hot yoga. But the towel quickly reached its absorption limit and then the towel started slipping on the mat and my hands and feet started slipping on the towel. At this point it was not much better than my naked yoga mat. If your sweat levels are not excessive, I imagine this towel would probably work well for you, however I wouldn't recommend it if you're doing Bikram or if you sweat a lot like me. For what it's worth, the towel itself seems to be very well made, and came with a nice drawstring bag made of the same fabric. It also fits nicely over my 72"x24" yoga mat, and has a shallow pocket that extends across the entire length of each end to fit over your mat. It stays in place decently well, but as soon as you start doing your sun salutations it might start bunching up in awkward places. Edit: the manufacturer reached out to me for feedback and when I related this information to them they offered to send me one of their other yoga mats which is supposed to be even more grippy, so hopefully that will resolve my issues. While this towel is not for me, the manufacturer's customer service deserves recognition.

Great product. I bought the Heathyoga Yoga Mat and ...
Great product. I bought the Heathyoga Yoga Mat and it was not a non-slip mat, but this helps with that. It fits well. This can be used on the mat or off. I've not tried to use this on a hard floor - only carpet, so can't speak to whether this is non-slip on that type of floor. However, it does not bunch up on the yoga mat and it is non slip on the mat and keeps me safe while I'm using it. It's soaks up moisture quickly. It comes with a great carry bag. The water bottle is used to spray it down as the instructions say it works better the wetter it is, but I've found I don't need to spray it. Due to the size though, it is limited on use I think. I'm not docking stars because I don't know how it would work with smaller mats.

Better than yogitoes, and half the price!
So I caved a few months ago and bought a nice Manduka mat - I'd been using an Aurorae synergy for my hot Vinyasa practice, so I needed a towel. My studio uses yogitoes towels, and they're ok-ish - still have to rearrange them periodically but I figured that's ever towel, right? Wrong, but we'll get to that in a second. So I looked at Yogitoes first and promptly about passed out from sticker shock - $50+ per towel?! And I needed like, 3 or 4 to rotate out, right? That's where this little towel came in. The buyer thay posted the photo that shows it still intact after her practice wasn't lying - it DOESN'T MOVE! It might wrinkle a TINY bit and not be perfectly smooth, but that's it. I stick the back corners of my mat into the corner pockets and just fold the tiny bit (an inch, maybe) of excess towel over the top of my mat. Boom. Traction in every down dog, every float to the top of my mat, no towel bunching pulling through through to up dog. Perfect. I ordered more walking out from my first hot class with it. Top notch product.

Perfect
My daughter and I just started our first Yoga classes. It didn't take long for our hands and feet to become sweaty which lead to our slipping during the poses. One of the participants had a thin Yoga blanket on top of her mat to keep her hands and feet secure during class. Going straight home, I got online to find a suitable barrier for my Yoga mat. After a couple of days of researching Yoga towels and blankets, I order two of these. We could not be more please with my purchase. They are perfect! Not only do they keep our feel and hands in place during our poses, but there are pockets to cover the corners on the mats which secures them during our class. They are thin, soft and they come with a drawstring pouch to carry them back and forth to class. I could not be more pleased with my purchase!

Don't get the RED One.
This is a revised review... I recently bought 2 more of the same towel because i needed extras. I bought mint green and red. BEWARE OF THE RED COLORED ONE! The mint green one was okay and did fine in the wash. The Red (actual color is pink but it's "red" in the description) literally disintegrated in the washing machine and ruined literally everything it was washed with. 😑 i give it 3 stars only cause the other two are okay. I had to rewash everything 3 times to get all that pink stuff out. *mint is totally fine...no problems. i had the gray one for a really long time and washed it a lot and it still holds up. ..... original review for gray color..... A friend recommended this yoga towel (she had various ones and this was her favorite) and it really does a great job in the hot yoga room. Does not slip. The grip is great and didn't budge on my yoga mat. Washes well (i followed the washing directions: line dry. No bleach or softeners. And i washed it literally 7 days in a row and shows no sign of wear.) It didn't cost a fortune like some other brands. Totally recommend this one... i am probably gonna pick up a second soon. I have the dark gray because at the time of purchase it was the cheapest of all the colors. It comes with a carry bag/pouch.

A very good value priced towel
Great little towel. Actually great big enough towel. Just ordered my third. I use two mat sizes depending on type of class and it might be good to rotate in a second towel for the higher exertion classes as I completely soak it through in an hour. I wash in cold and hang dry on my heated towel warmer and it's good to go in less than six hours. The 24× 68 fits a 1/4 thick mat perfectly. The 26× 72 is snug on 3/8 thick mat and tends to curl unless it gets a good firm stretch first. A few months ago I was just grabbing a beach towel from the closet go throw on the mat and that was a disaster ready to happen. I chose a less expensive towel in case I didn't stick with it. I'm now doing 6-8 classes per week and there's a need for another. I would like to find car seat covers in the same fabric.
