Good budget speakers cheap and sound ok

Fantastic value. I used these to build a Bluetooth speaker. They produce clear and very pleasant sound. I managed to get a decent bit of bass through my cabinet construction. I will use these again.

I bought these for a 2013 Peugeot 107 not realising the dash speaker grills cover only a tweeter, not a speaker. This did make installation much harder that it will if you are buying these for a pre-face lifted C1 or 107 (some time in 2012). The older car had dash mounted speakers only. The face lifted version has tweeters here and then door speakers. I'll do the review for the speakers themselves in a bit, but I think these speakers are a popular choice for people with a 107/C1/Aygo and I will do a bit around that first. The front tweeters are attached via a 4 pin plug, with two wires being the + and - from the head unit and the other two being the + and - which go from here to the door speakers. It should be noted that if you have door speakers and you add these, you are changing the resistance from 4 ohms to 2 ohms and might have problems. You will also have fun working out which wiring is from the head unit and which goes onto the speakers. In the end, I decided to just fit these and bypass the door speakers. At some point I will change the head unit and install some speakers in the parcel shelf instead. If it is of interest, on the right dash speaker blue was + and green was - and on the left purple was + and pink was -. By subtraction white and red are the two wires going to the right door speakers and black and beige on the left side go to the left door speaker. The drills holes don't completely match and you will need to remove two of the four ears which screw down the speakers for the 107/C1/Aygo. The speakers are quite nicely made and come with the cables you need and clips and screws if you are mounting this in a location in the car where there weren't speakers. Sound quality is really decent for a 4" speaker. Even without the door speakers, I have a much nicer sound in the car. When I do order speakers for the parcel shelf I will seriously consider Pyle again. A pair of 6.5" pair would fit (even the tiny parcel shelf in the 107) and should sound good. Obviously I will need to feed in wiring under the carpet to get back there. For less than £14 these speakers are a no brainer. Just be aware if they are going into a car to replace something else that mounting points, speaker depth and a host of other things need to be considered. If these don't slot in perfectly it isn't the speakers' fault.

Absolute rubbish! I don’t recomand these speakers! Even the original one that I had on my Aygo sound much-much better!

Very good quality product for the price, easy to fit and set up, sound quality is good and works perfectly, although I do need to update my system and they look great. Absolute bargain for the price of them. Will definitely buy again if needed!

At one time, Pyle was one of the most respected names in music. They seem to have gotten a lot of flack lately but to be honest, there is nothing wrong with anything Pyle makes now or has ever made. I own several Pyle model electronics. These 6x9 speakers are extremely well designed and offer comparable sound even with other top brands. But it's the price difference that is the icing on the cake. Unless you're in a studio, requiring precise sound, these are wonderful replacements for any car/truck/suv stereo system, with power to spare. Highly recommended!

They took a while to reach my address, but totally worth the wait. They were super easy to install and they sound great.

Purchased for an E38 with blown original 4ohm woofer door speakers. I rarely play it full blast, so for those of us who don't need to wake up the neighborhood, they are perfect. If your review is based on packaging, please just don't. We've all had bad packaging and delivery nightmares, not the products fault or do we need you to rant about it here. It doesn't help readers make a decision. In any case, packaging was good from Amazon, double boxed. Sound, better than I expected. It replaced some old woofers and while the car has separate tweeters, these seemed to enhance the sound. As for volume, they are more than adequate, with little to unnoticeable distortion at higher volume, compared to the originals, no difference. for those E38 or BMW owners, sorry I didn't take pictures, however they were a perfect fit for the 5.25 sized original mount.
