I love Joyce Meyer's writing and all the books I've read of hers. This book contains wonderful and deep insight, I wished I had growing up. The guidance in this book is very substantive yet easy to understand and apply to one's life. Highly recommend!

A must read for those of us who struggle to even like ourselves
Growing up in a mentally and verbally abusive family wreaked havoc on my self-esteem and my relationship with God because the thought process is, "How can God love a failure like me?" If you have an incredible sense of people pleasing, low self-esteem, low self-confidence or just need a reminder that God made you to be just the way you are, this is the book for you. I also highly recommend the study guide if you really want to dig deeper into scripture and solidify what you read in the book. It's life-changing.
