Works great right out of the box.
The only issue I had is that the OEM motor had a yellow lead where this one has a white one. Other than that, I just matched colors plugging in the new leads as I pulled the old ones. One other thing--the motor power leads (blue white black red) had no quick connects on the ends. If I hadn't had some in my toolbox, it would have meant a trip to a hardware store in the middle of the install. On the other hand, a 3/8 in 12-point socket fit the square shaft lock screw perfectly making it easier to install without having to use an adjustable wrench. So have three quick connects and a 3/8 inch socket, and it will go on much easier than it was to take off the old one.

Works great, just not 3/4 HP as advertised
My blower motor blew out in the dead heat here in Houston, TX. Using Google I was able to isolate my problem to either the motor or capacitor so I purchased both. Capacitor replacement alone didn't fix it so the motor was up next. Temps inside the house got as high as 93 degrees upstairs in my dual zoned home. The motor arrived quickly and cooled the house down to a chill 75 in 95 degree weather. So in that sense it was perfect as it righted the household. I also noticed how quiet the motor ran as others mentioned. Now i've also discovered what others mentioned. It runs nice and quiet because the airflow is very low now. This may be rated as 3/4 HP but it is not. Thats why I took away a star. It works great for what it does, it just isn't nearly powerful enough to match the motor it replaced that had much better forced airflow through the registers. Unfortunately I'm beyond my return window so I will be putting this on the shelf and getting an actual 3/4 HP motor. I'll just keep this on standby in case I have a motor problem later down the line.

Motor is a 3/4
Motor is a 3/4 hp 1075 rpm 1 phase the important part is its 3 speeds it sounds to me the people saying it's not a 3/4 hp Motor don't know how to wire it up and that's not the manufacturer fault look at the diagram on this Motor and the one you are pulling so you get it right otherwise it runs in a low speed 😉

Good replacement motor.
First off the people who stated this is not a 3/4 hp motor have it wired wrong, have someone qualified to install it! I was surprised it was made in Mexico, not China. Seems well built, runs smooth and an excellent replacement. Very happy.

Good until it wasnt
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Worked good until it didn’t. Less than one year this fan went out. Will NOT recommend or buy again with only a 90 day warranty. And before you ask, yes I verified power to unit and it worked for a year after install but then suddenly died.

Make sure to order the correct size capacitor. This motor take a 15mF cap. Larger horse power them my old motor no doubt. Otherwise, this is a good deal
