### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Functional, minor flaws

I bought this clipboard to use in the medical field with the hope that it could do 2 things: 1) Hold confidential papers out of site. 2) Store, and somewhat protect, my i-pad when not in use. The thickness of the clipboard allows (and necessitates, if you don't want your tablet slipping around) storage of a thick packet of paper along with an ipad. The weight is not unbearable for carrying around all day. Initially, I bought one of these and carried it around for 3 months without problem. Then it got knocked off a shelf and came crashing down with my ipad inside. One of the hinges snapped, but the ipad remained safe inside. I was happy enough with the price and functionality that I purchased a second one. Pros 1) Lightweight, very usable. 2) Easy to write on. Easy to open to get out papers. Cons 1) Didn't survive 6 ft drop to ground (but saved the ipad) 2) The closing mechanism occasionally seems just slightly misaligned- not bad enough to let a piece of paper fall out, but I noticed it. This is especially true when you have it very full. 3) Small compartment only fits 2 pens. Don't expect to put much in that.
