It would not do your scalp any harm to apply it but it is unlikely to have the same action as Zinc Pyrithione in terms of the anti-dandruff function.

I've been looking for this type of zinc since a practitioner recommended it to support my immune system. I'm really please with this one as it's high strength and doesn't have any rubbish added to it. It's easy to take, doesn't taste too strong and is working well for me. With the amount I'm using each day it will last well, and it's great to see that they've used a glass container that preserves the product, as I've heard that supplements lose their potency over time otherwise.
