What is the difference between the single sided and double sided?

The single sided mop sticks to the mop frame with Velcro. The double sided mops do not work with this unit. They are meant for a system that is used with a special wringer. This mop is easy to fill and works well and cannot be used in a mop bucket and wringer. The mopheads remove easily for washing and last a long time.

Does the liquid come out as squirt gun like pressure or gravity fed?

It's gravity fed. The button pulls a cable which releases a pinch on the hose near the outlet. My cable became disconnected from the button which makes it useless.

Is this a battery operated mop, or just squeeze pressure operated?

It has a spray that comes out when you push the button.They were using it to mop my room in the hospital, so I bought one and my wife loves it.You don't soak the hed of the mop it is just damp

What solution do you use to clean your floors?

On real oak strip floor as well as ceramic a healthy dose of dish washing liquid and water works flawless. Cleans up everything.
