This product works great for thrush, and deterioration of the frog and heel. Treats thrush fast, and hardens the frog and sole in the process. Easy to apply. But I recommend getting a soft-bristle frog brush, something with plastic bristles about the density of a firm toothbrush. The steel bristles of a hoof pick can be a bit too harsh. Use the frog brush to clean the sole and frog, apply the powder, then use the brush to get the power into sole all around the frog, any cracks in the heel, and out to the white line. Twice-a-day for multiple days until the sole firms up, then once a day for a few days, then just every few days for maintenance. I always keep this stuff on-hand, especially in the springtime.

Great product! This is helping my horse’s scratches. I have been putting it on his legs once a day for a few weeks and the scratches are starting to dry out. In addition, no new scratches have developed. I have tried different shampoos, sprays and ointments. Nothing has worked until now. I put the powder on a small soft brush and brush it in to the scratches and other areas where I think new ones might develop.

Works really well, cleared thrush completely with only a few applications. Easy to apply.

Goodbproduct for horse thrush

This product is the only product that has made any progress on my horses thrush. He has a big heel crack and I’ve been trying everything to get it to close. I’ve been using this product for only 2 weeks and notice a difference. Only downfall is that it does end up being more expensive to use because the bottle is so small. I’ll definitely get a good 3 weeks out of it. Worth it to help close up the heel crack

I was lead to believe that I was ordering the 5.5 oz. bottle and received the 2.5 oz bottle. Stupid expensive for only a 2.5 oz bottle.
