It will flip when pulling backwards if you have the handle angle too steep. While not as much 'fun', the lower you stoop the easier it is to operate. That is the reason the handle is so long. The weight of the rake is enough to move the materials so no added pressure should be needed. I found that the open channel design of the tines to be a plus as they trap pebbles and such which allows you to easily discard them instead of just pushing them around. It seems to be a high quality tool that should last if properly cared for. Review: Better than expected quality - I have been watching Ryan's videos for a couple of years now, and finally decided to buy the leveler he sponsors. I don't know if they have redesigned the handle from the negative reviews but this was not a flimsy pot metal handle. It is reinforced and has an internal screw insert for the 2 part handle. It never felt light or insubstantial, it is solidly built. I used it for about 6 hours and spread 5 yards of topsoil to level my front yard without any issues. Also, it does not appear to be just a painted finish, but it feels like it is a powder coated frame, so I don't think I am going to worry about chipping from use. The handle of a cheaper Stainless Steel leveler did break. I think the extra $20 for a product you can watch youtube videos to see in action is well worth it. Sometimes $20 cheaper gets you just that...a cheap product you are going to have to replace after a season, or maybe even after 1/2 of a law project. ## Features - LEVEL YOUR YARD THE LANDZIE WAY: Transform your lawn care routine with the Landzie Lawn Leveling Rake, an essential thatch rake for any tool shed or garage. Scraping over rocks, the paint is still intact. Can feel the quality when you hold it. **Q: Will this help to remove unwanted rocks?** A: Hi, yes, this will help kick up unwanted rocks that are stuck in the soil so that you can easily remove them. **Q: Can it be hooked up to a lawn tractor ?** A: Thanks for reaching out! This item only operates using a pushing function. However, you may want to check out our Landzie Drags! They do an awesome job of leveling many different materials such as sand, hay, gravel, and soil, and they can be hooked up to mowers, tractors, trucks, and ATVs. They come in 4', 6', and 8' options. To view the Landzie Drags, just search the term “Landzie Drag" and the ASIN number listed below that corresponds to the size of the drag you're interested in. For the 4’ drag, search the ASIN: B0BTJC24SW For the 6’ drag, search the ASIN: B09YT1Q8MH For the 8’ drag, search the ASIN: B08PNDCPMPH Hope this helps :) **Q: Can this be used to level #8 (pea) gravel?** A: Although the Landzie & RK Lawn Level is meant for less abrasive materials, our team believes it could help spread smaller gravel, especially if the rocks are smooth and light. We do not recommend using the lawn level to spread rigid, hard rock, as this could damage the functionality of the lawn level. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does the job *by H***R on June 9, 2022* Like others, I did experience a learning curve as to the most effective way to use this tool. It has some weight to it, so really smooth and levels and co.pacts the soil perfectly... not too little, not too much! I would 100% buy again, and will probably get a second one. The handle could potentially be broken, but only if manufactured improperly or inadequate, or if you are too rough with it. If used correctly, and you take care of your equipment, its perfect! ## Frequently Bought Together - LANDZIE Lawn Leveling Rake – 36" Steel Handle Yard Leveler, Lawn Level Tool for Creating a Flat Surface - Works for Soil, Dirt, Topdressing, and Ground - LANDZIE - The Original 24 Inch Compost and Peat Moss Spreader Roller - Top Soil, Sand, Manure, Mulch, Top Dressing Lawn and Garden Spreader - Landzie Hollow Tine Lawn Aerator Tool - 42 Inch Core Aerator and Grass Aeration Tool Lawn Tools - Stainless Steel Manual Lawn Aerator Plug Aerator and Aerator Lawn Tool for Soil Compaction Yard Tools --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.kr/products/322589529-landzie-lawn-leveling-rake-36-inch-steel-yard-leveler-tool](https://www.desertcart.kr/products/322589529-landzie-lawn-leveling-rake-36-inch-steel-yard-leveler-tool) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Korea* *Store origin: KR* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
