Where is the Green Sheep?

Fantastic Book
I honestly don't know who enjoys this book more - me or my 2 year old! It was a recommendation from a friend and we are definitely not disappointed. A nice change to the usual childrens nursery rhymes or other popular books (that are all enjoyed by us too) -this is fun from the first page to the last and has my daughter enthralled even after several months of reading it. Its one we always pack for a journey or trip away. It's a lovely way to introduce different actions, shapes, colours etc and uses fun pictures of different sheep all the way through on the journey to find the illusive green sheep. We giggle all the way through it and my daughter still says "shush" towards the end as we turn the page quietly to take a peep...............Brilliant...

A masterpiece!
I bought this book for my son's 1st birthday and he loved it the first time we read it. He is now 2 and a half and it is still one of his favourites. We can read it several times in a day sometimes. It's a very carefully crafted rhyming book with fantastic illustrations and as an adult I enjoy reading it too and appreciating the work that has gone into creating its perfect simplicity. I buy it now for every friend's child on their first birthday.I recently came across an article by Mem Fox on how she wrote the story and it is a fascinating read in itself - [...]

Ssshhh.. Scream
New favorite with my 18 month toddler who is selecting this book every night for past two weeks. I bought it several months ago on recommendation from the speech therapist in a chatter babies play group, but he is only enjoying it now. He loves the scene in the park with all the sheep doing different activities. When we get to the final page with the sheep sleeping, he screams to wake him up! Nice illustrations, repetitive rhyming text and good for language development.

A great choice for little ones!
We have purchased several books to add to our collection recently, but this one has really captured the attention of my 21 month old - he loves pointing at all the different sheep! It is a simple premise, fast paced and rhyming, with pictures of each sheep we encounter while searching for the elusive green sheep...

My babies love this book
A friend introduced my children to this book and they now absolutely love it. The pictures are clear, the text is simple and easy to understand and there are lots of things to talk about given the pictures are relatively simple. I also like the introduction of new vocabulary throughout.

Lovely book
I knew this book from a child, lovely book! However, it doesn't look like the other review photos, it's a lot larger and is not a hard back.

A real favourite
Our 1 year old daughter loves this book! The pictures are great and the writing entertaining. There's lots to see and she loves to point out different things. She loves it so much that we bought a green sheep toy, which we hide around our house for her to find.
