For anyone hesitant to order these, they worked on the tailgate trim for my 2008 Chevy Avalanche. Thanks to the reviewer who mentioned his Avalanche as well I chose these. I was able to reinstall my trim piece myself and they came in a timely manner with contact information on the shipper.

These worked exactly for what I needed them for. Half of my tailgate cover had been broken off and the clips had snapped right along with it. After some help from an experienced friend, we tracked these down on Amazon and ordered them right away. They fit in the holes on both the tailgate cover and the tailgate. My only compliant was that they seemed to not be very tight on the tailgate cover part. They kinda slid around with little effort. They didn't fall off or anything, but I know this was a defect because not all of them did that. My solution was getting some 3m tape to help hold the tailgate cover on. It's all holding well so far and looks great!

Its the part you need to fix the pesky molding on the tailgate. Right part. Works as it should.
