Worked as advertised on our salmon trolling rods to make the butt more comfortable

This was perfect for fishing in Jamaica. We go out in the boat and hold the rods in our laps for most of the day towing with the rod. When I went last year without this device my thigh would get pinched quite often. No pinching this year with this butt cushion. My thighs thank you! The big game version seems big enough to fit over any rod.

I only gave it 4 stars because it was a bit big. It gave me great underarm relief after throwing big poppers all day in panama and let me get more casts and jigging time in with less pain.

These fishing pole cushion is too long it is no way to use a trolling rod and be able to reach the pole in front of the reel to be able to fight a fish your arms will have to be very long or you will have to hold the fishing pole at the reel I can’t use it

This model is huge! Well made. Slips easily on to the rod butts, even my disfunctional jigging rod butt. Definitly helps when fighting fish when we dont want to use a harness or belt.
