Should I be fine changing every 30,000?** A: It's really a matter of convenience and good practices, not money! I change mine every year (15K miles approx.)and in between I check for debris, tare and ware. When the air filter has accumulated some debris a good blowing with an air hose normally helps or even tapping the area that filters against a clean garage floor! The bottom line is, if you check your air filter regularly, say every oil change, and it looks dirty at 12K-15K miles..., then replace it.
