**Q: can you remove the corner and simply have the normal desk's? if you say wanted to make a non L desk and switch it up?**

if you do not want L shaped desk, just want two simple desks,  yes, it could be two simple desk, you just do not assemble the arced-board and the acred-metal base.  CPU could remove or not as your idea. 
Please do not worry about the sturdy, these two simple desks are sturdy totally, still could hold TV or computers.

the stand shelf could move anywhere you want. if you mean the arc board, if you moved it, l shaped desk still could work well, as its is the best stable structure under the top.

The l desk which own the most sturdy structure,for there are 4 steel bars which give the board strong base support ,and X-legs design you can move the desk anywhere even if move a new house.
And if you notice the CPU stand you will see it is fixed on the legs which enhance the legs again .

I love this desk it’s very sturdy and gives me so much room that I desperately needed. The only thing that was bad was it came with a corner a little damaged but that’s not the sellers fault and it was easy to cover up.
