Brach's Mellowcreme Caramel Apples, Halloween Candy, 9 oz Bag

Caramel is my favorite flavor next to peppermint candy. I have been eating Brachs caramel candy for years and they make excellent caramel candy apples.

The caramels are smooth textured, not hard caramels.

Gotta love this brand. Not a bad price either. Came fresh and I'm going to make Halloween treats with them. Quick Shipping!

But I took 1 star away because each caramel candy is too hard to unwrap.

These arrived all melted to each other and to the bag. Aside from looking completely unappetizing, the texture was softer than other mellowcremes and the flavor was really artifical tasting. If you chew one while thinking "apple," you might be able to trick yourself into thinking it tastes like apple, but that's a stretch. We'll stick to mellowcreme pumpkins and easter shapes. I don't remember those varieties having such an odd flavor.

This always stirs child hood memory's of candy corn, the wonderful smells of fall,warm wood fire in the fire place, hot cocoa with mini marshmallows, hay rides, Halloween carnivals, party's, and trick or treating. Now that I've had my little nostalgia trip down memory lane, about the product. These delicious mellow cremes arrived well packaged and on time. It was nice to find them at the Brach's store on Amazon as you couldn't hardly get them elsewhere or if you could they were very over priced! The Brach's store had them at an excellent price and they arrived on time, well sealed and packaged and oh so fresh and delicious. No complaints here. I would highly recommend this product and this vendor ,and I most definitely will purchase again!

The caramels taste good but arrived very misshapened and extremely difficult to open as if they had melted somewhere along the way and we’re the quality they should be. I don’t know if this is a first time thing or if they’re always this way.
