How to change battery

The battery should last a year and then you can either take it to a jeweler and they will replace the battery or pry the back off with a small screwdriver being careful not to scratch the watch. Remove the battery and buy another and put it in and snap the back on.

Does the watch actually work?

It works very well. Mine even had a plastic plug under the time setter so the battery was not running during delivery.

Does Amazon offer any engraving for these pocket watches?

We took it to a local engraver to have it done. I didn't even check to see if Amazon would engrave it.

Does every watch come with a battery? I got mine yesterday, and I can adjust the time and everything, but it doesn't actually work.

If mine has a battery, I have no idea where it would be located. For the longest time I didn't know how to adjust the time so you are clearly smarter than me. However, my watch was working as soon as I took it out of the package.
