These are expensive but very good, they don't necessarily soothe a really scratchy throat but they're good when youre on the onset/ come down from a bad sore throat or if you're tired of the more medicine tasting ones. They do soothe and they really aren't too sweet. I also like to use them while i'm on the train if i get motion sickness. Texture is smooth

Not sure they really control a cough but they do help lubricate the throat. The taste is decent. I would purchase them again because they are much better than any of those national brands.
