It clips on easily to the car’s own sun shield and can be folded over the back of the car sun shield. It can then be unfolded under the sun shield to add extra shielding from bright sunshine. The sun visor is quite broad so it provides quite a bit of protection from sun glare. Particularly useful at this time of the year when the sun is so low in the sky and for those of us who are not tall enough for the car sun shield to give adequate protection.p

Pros and cons. Quite effective although it had a small fault in the surface finish. Also it kept falling off the visor, even though I packed it on with cardboard. Eventually it broke but I might get another one as was so useful.

It's ok for shielding the sun from your eyes when it's straight ahead. However I leave my car visor down, but pushed right up to the windscreen. It was so it was easier when I fold up the attachment visor when it's not needed. It has a tendency to slip when trying to fold it up or down & therefore makes it difficult to do it when driving, so I have had to pull over & stop if I needed to alter it.

My wife is quite short and the regular sun visor does not go low enough to block the sun out for her. This addition is a real benefit as it provides a wide filtered view on sunny and bright days, without having to change to sunglasses. Personally I find the view a little distorted for using as a driver, so I am trying to source a visually corrected version.

The sun visor does its job in shading your eyes from the sun at a lower level for us short people, however, it’s quite distracting as it’s so big it distracts you from driving and distorts the view slightly. It’s also very creaky & stiff to manoeuvre, it doesn’t go up or down easily, it sounds like it’s going to snap! A waste of money really.

I have now fitted two of these items to my vehicle, they are brilliant in the winter sunshine when the sun is so low on the horizon, they are easy to fit, and good value for money.

As I'm not very tall this has been a godsend in the recent sunny weather. I would recommend it to anyone who finds the car visor is too short
