She still uses the same brush to this day (2-3 years later) and has yet to have to change the teeth on the short side. After adopting a cat recently and having no cat brush actually help with shedding I knew I had to get one of these again! (Mom just won't give hers up ;D ) The first time I used this on my short haired tabby I got about enough fur out to make a whole other one of him! No brush has controlled shedding on any of my animals like this one! It has worked great on a german shepherd, many short haired cats, and a medium coat Australian shepherd. Get this brush and you will not be disappointed! I have recommended it to all of my friends with pets.
