Review: Nice relay switch - Great for DIY automation of lights or sockets. Integrates seamlessly with Home Assistant. The build quality is good and there are plenty of YouTube tutorials explaining the wiring. Provides Power Monitoring. Only supports WiFi and Bluetooth though.
Review: Good product - My wife was saying she wished she could hear the machine machine buzz when the wash was done. I put this in line with the power to the washer and set it up in the app so that any time the power flow drops to zero for 5 seconds Alexa announces that the washer is done. The app has a bit of a learning curve, I set it up to notify Alexa and Alexa recognizes it as a button push, but it's a better app than most. I can't say for sure but I also get the impression that Shelly will improve it's products, including the app, unlike a lot of other iot companies. I really like the device though so maybe it's just wishful thinking. One of these days I'm going to set it up to turn all the lights on and off and play music. My wife will love that! ... actually no, no she won't. Muwahahahaha!
