My hairdresser recommended this to me the last time I had my hair done; it was more expensive in the store and I didn't need it right away, so I ordered it.It works way better than the other purple conditioners I have tried, it is not heavy on my fine hair, and smells nice but not overwhelming. It definitely is keeping my blonde bright and soft!

I use this BEFORE I shampoo. I get my hair wet in the shower, towel dry it so it's just slightly damp, and then apply this GENEROUSLY throughout my hair, starting with the ends (they need the most toning). I recommend leaving it on for 1.5 hours. At least that's what I do or it won't tone my hair at all. Then I wash my hair with shampoo and condition. I find that washing my hair with shampoo after, gives me the most even tone.

I am in love with the color extend VB. Recently I had a found weave done at a salon. The bleaching process was different around my face and appeared a little more "Ronald McDonald" color than the rest of my head. I used this product for the next 3 washes and my hair was no longer red/orange around my face. I have used the VB since it first came out and find that it works better for my desired blonde color tone.I have tested this on on treated brown hair also just to see the effects. It works just as well on untreated brown hair at removing brassy colors and replacing them with a darker blonde/lighter brown color.Just a fair warning. I have found that over use of this product with leave a slight light blue coloring to blonde hair. Don't panic, the blue coloring will washout!

I put this in and it only lasted about a week before it started looking brassy again. It makes my hair feel great and conditioned but I also noticed a lot of hair falling out as I did this. That could be technique issues on my part though.

I recently bleached my hair after 16+ years of dyeing it black/dark brown so naturally it is very very orange. The blue violet toner was able to neutralize the orange to a dark blonde/very light brown color. I like that is not a permanent toner so it will fade in the wash so I can easily do a second round of bleach at a later date to get my hair where I want it.Update: I did a second bleach process to further lighten my hair and the tested this on a swatch of the lighter hair and didn’t like the results. This time it just left a wash of grey over the hair that didn’t look natural or good so I probably wouldn’t suggest it for levels 8-10

i have naturally dirty blonde hair, decided to go bright blonde about a year ago and wasn’t happy w the outcome so i’ve toned it twice since then to get back to my natural color. two appointments were all i needed to get the desired color but over time i’ve noticed some brassiness that i’m not a huge fan off but thought i could try a purple hair mask for the first time in my life i’ve never used any purple shampoos either so completely new to this and was very nervous but very happy w the result!! i’m sure if i left it longer i could see a bigger difference (left in for about 5 minutes) but all i needed was a subtle change and it delivered!

I’m 62, and rather than dye my hair, I use this instead. It gives just enough color that it looks more blonde than gray! Helps defy my age, and literally takes years off my appearance! Love it!!!
