Works great for distance. Went from 0 to 1 bar, 18 miles from tower
Worked great in rural AK. Used “Cell Antenna” app to locate closest tower (18 miles away). Then used “Coordinates” app to get exact direction (degrees). When we headed to the cabin- no reception), used iPhone compass to match the predetermined degrees. Placed on highest spot on cabin: still has trees and hillside blocking direct sight - no chance of actually seeing the tower. The antenna has a very small window of degrees to catch the signal from that distance (10 degrees max). Connected the cable to a mifi hotspot with hotspot SIM card (https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B08F2WW1H1?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_image ) and 10k battery pack- and went from nothing to being able to text, basic surfing (Amazon shopping) and 90% clear phone calls. Very happy - 250$ or so for a complete setup and 30$/month for hotspot service.

Quality product
5* because assembly was easy/good instructions, hardware is high quality / fasteners are stainless steel, good quality on cable and adapters also. I’ll share that with this product I also had a learning experience on cell towers. I live on a bluff and have direct line of sight to 20+ cell towers, 8 of these are within the 10 mi radius required by this antenna. I thought that I would surely see the 100+ mbps shown on youtube by pointing a yagi antenna to the closest tower (4mi). I was wrong… Most of the towers that i can see follow a road, and i later learned they only broadcast signal along the road… not in the direction of my house. I found that only one of the 20+ towers was sending signal in the direction of my home. I recommend googling and finding a cellmapper tower site that shows the direction of the tower signal. Additionally, I think the secret is out on cell internet in rural areas. After installation, m the best mbps I’ve experienced was 44 mbps. But most often my connection is between 2 - 14 mbps. I can definitely see the connection speed is effected by peak hours; days and evenings are slower and late nights and mornings are much faster speeds. My provider is not throttled.

Satisfied
I’ll admit I was not expecting this to actually work, but I will say I’m impressed. It is working a lot better than I expected. My only issue was that I wished it came with longer cable or at least made it to where someone can list the length of cable availability. Also need to clarify what type of booster that this can hook up to without accessories needed

Big improvement in signal
Missing hardware in package but managed to make it work. Increased DL speed (4g) from 3-4 megs with standard donor antenna to 70+. Highly recommend

Instructions not detailed
Was missing 2 parts. Item not as described. Messaged seller but wasnt enough help. As i also went to the website and couldnt find detailed instructions. I mean its good if youve done it before. Not if you never have.

Beautifully designed antenna performs great
The antenna can be assembled by one person in just a couple of minutes. The design of the horn feeder is just beautiful… you have to see it to believe it. —Patrick

If you know what your doing it is worth it all day.
I ordered this product about 3 weeks ago and put it up 1 week ago to use with a Weboost Drive X cell phone booster. I am in a camper at 25-27 miles away from my targeted cell tower but in a mostly clear and direct line of site of the tower (I know where its at but cant see it). I did have to break out a map and a compass to figure out the relative direction of the tower to get it aimed close enough to have 1-2 bars coming from the booster. Putting the antenna itself together was not a big deal but did take some time. Be sure to buy some self sealing tape to put around your connections that are going to be outside so you dont get water shorting the inner contact with the outer contact. This antenna does every bit of what is advertised to do if you aim it correctly. For those of you who actually have the money to spare you should buy a spectrum analyzer (network analyzer with a N fitting on it) to help you aim your antenna in the correct direction. I did not have the resources at the time so I used a old phone that I had soldered wires onto the manufactures external antenna test ports to help me aim this antenna. See next paragraph if you have any interest in that. I decided that 1-2 bars is not enough so i took a old samsung phone and soldered to the outside (ground) of manufacturer antenna to the outside of an old ts9 to N adapter that i had laying around and then soldered the inside point of the ts9 adapter to a wire and soldered the other end of the wire to a sewing needle. I then bent the sewing needle so that tape could be placed over it to keep it in contact with the phones antenna port. I then used a short connector that came in the lightning protection kit to hook up my phone contraption to the parabolic antenna, I then used the signal status (bars) to indicate when i was best pointed at the tower. Overall I adjusted the antenna an additional 3 degrees horizonantally and about 2 degrees vertically and came out with 3 bars with the occasional 4 bars while connected directly to the phone i used to adjust the antenna with. After doing the fine adjusting with the phone I then checked the boosters output (it has a small wilson desk antenna) and discovered that it had 5 bars of service anywhere within 5 foot of its radius of it and dropped down a bar of coverage every few feet after that. Overall this aiming technique was a success but you would likely have better and easier results using a spectrum analyzer to aim this antenna. Notes: Antenna did not come with self sealing tape, Antenna did not come with a base to mount it with, Antenna did not come with lightning protection kit, the antenna came with a card telling you to pick a free gift from the manufacturer (mount, lightning kit, or extra cable).

Excelente producto
