In the end, these are great. Good value, handsome-looking, sturdy, easy to use for a generic/casual document. See pictures - altho certificates are redacted, it shows the actual commendation prints in context in-situ. "however" - there were problems along the way because of the type of document we needed these for ... if it's just an 8.5x11" white sheet of paper, these nit-picks would go unnoticed in a casual usage. We ordered two (navy, black). Both came with "dents" in the outer (front side, wouldn't you know it) vinyl cover. We returned the worse one. Its replacement was dented too! That replacement was fine (whew - time was running out) finally. Now, there's the size and logistics issue. Included (happily) is an acetate protector sheet that fits over the document. Both the top and bottom inner surfaces have a glued-in white heavy (paper) stock "lining" This is fine, except that it is LARGER than 8.5 x 11 by 3/16" +/- As you can see the two documents in our usage have bleeds (i.e., no border), so that backing surface shows thru as a thin white uneven border and looks like a mistake for the sizing. So with several trials, we reprinted the re-sized (incrementally larger) certificates and trimmed carefully to fit. (They were printed on high-end archival acid-free parchment paper with 10-ink (pigment) printing) The acetate protectors ARE DIFFERING SIZES in the two folders by about 1/16" - this sounds miniscule, but the edges look sophomoric if not matched. In addition, for no reason we can fathom, the "mounting corners" (diagonal strips at each corner that hold the document and acetate in place) are differing colors between the two folders. Aside from all this pickiness needed for this important presentation certificate usage, the end result was quite wonderful, and the price is right.

I purchased these certificate holders for certificates of appreciation presented to five outstanding women at our church. To me they outshine the paper holders and give a more professional look They are very sturdy and expensive.

Used for certificates, the quality is surprisingly good for the price. Nice thick covers, plus a clear plastic cover for the certificate and fabric corners. Each diploma cover is wrapped in an individual clear envelope to prevent damage. Would buy again.
