It dries clear so you can see the picture. I tried to get the lacquer out of an old pop cap and it was very difficult. Very difficult. So I don’t think it would easily pop out of a mold. **Q: Does it dry hard, or flexible? Would it take sanding?** A: It was flexible for some time because I trimmed some excess with an exacto blade. I don't know it it eventually gets hard enough to sand later because my use puts it u der glass. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ EASY to use, beautiful finish *by A***D on January 14, 2019* This stuff is great. It comes out like a thick liquid (or slightly thin gel). The top of this bottle is pretty narrow, enough to accurately place 1 drop at a time. From their online stuff (sakuracraft.com) seems they have a few different precision applicators; I didn't need any of them though.I use a dampened, tiny brush. Dab a bead of the stuff where I want it, use the brush to smooth it around. It dries in about 20-30 minutes, hard and very glossy. I thought it was still wet!The product is intended to go on heavy and harden thick, to give a 3d effect. I'm using it to seal smnall areas of handmade jewelry, and it's perfect for this. I can brush it on very thin (and it becomes a thin, hard protective coating) or leave it very thick and it stays thick like a layer of epoxy.Bubbles will stay embedded, and the product doesn't shrink much while drying. If bubbles find their way in, I've been able to easily remove them with the brush before it sets up.It's very easy to work with, and cleans up with water.
