If you are debating buying this mattress, this is your sign to buy it! It is the best mattress ever! I bought this for my newborn who is due any day now and when the mattress arrived, I opened it and put it in the living room to air out until my husband finished work and could put it in the nursery. This was a mistake! First of all, the matress has a very clean natural smell so no airing out required. Secondly, my one and a half year old became obsessed with this mattress. He would jump and roll and lay on it. The mattress in his crib was a normal poly filled mattress so we got rid of his old mattress, gave him this one, and bought another for our newborn. Since switching our toddler to this mattress,:he sleeps much deeper, he never wakes up in the middle of the night (he used to wake up every night with the old mattress), instead of waking me up in the morning, he sleeps in so I wake him up, and he wakes up in a great mood instead of crying like he did with the old matress. I love this mattress! It has made my life so much easier.

Great mattress for kids that like being cool. Nice firm but soft. Cleaning the mattress seems good. Drools don’t stain terribly and remains easy to down. Overall expensive but our child is sensitive skin. Been over year and no rashes or other discomfort. Sleeps through the night without issues. Previous mattress left him in sweats when we would pick him up.

It’s nontoxic and made with the best materials if that’s your highest priority. However, it felt very firm compared to my older child’s crib mattress of a different brand that I purchased 2 years ago. I actually returned this Naturepedic crib mattress and bought the same brand as my daughter has which is equally breathable and much softer but still firm enough for an infant. I also noticed that when put in our crib, which is a standard size crib, it did not fully come to the edges, which makes me extremely nervous to put in a newborn thinking that he could get at least a limb caught between the mattress and crib wall. For the price, I think it could be made with softer material and shaped to perfectly fit a standard crib.

I get it… it’s a silly amount of money to spend on a crib mattress. I went back and forth a lot, wondering if we should just get a $50 mattress and call it good. BUT as new parents with anxiety, we figured we should go with the super breathable option, just in case. Turns out it’s a good thing, cause our baby sure likes to sleep ON HIS FACE. Try as we might to adjust him, he insists that this is the only way he can sleep. WOMP. At least we can rest a little easier knowing that we chose the best mattress for our little face-sleeper!

Easy to clean, two kids used this mattress and both had no problem sleeping. I would buy it again
