I think I should start with the pros before the cons because I'm going to be complaining. It is a nice bow. Kind of a cheap starter bow that you'll bring to the shop to get set up fully and correctly. The arrows do fly ok even if they are oriented for compound. I took the sight and off my main bow and tested it, and it did work. It was inside, so like 30 feet tops, but it worked. Once you get it set up and get accessories for it, you'll be shooting away. The limbs seem pretty sturdy and the string is OK (once you set it up) it has a space for me to install all of the things I have on my main bow. I can put stabilizers on it, I can put a sight on it. As for the plunger, it has 1 hole, so you can't do the fancy sight plunger combo ones that need a 2nd hole. Ok, so in the package, you get some paper targets, 6 arrows, 6 target tips, 3 hunting tips. You get the riser, the 2 limbs and a string. You also get an Allen key to attach the limbs. No instructions (good thing I've assembled bows before... I've done it the wrong way and the right way back in my early days. Look at the image for how the limbs should face.) No arm guard No finger tab From the image, you'd think there are an arm guard and a finger tab... I wish I looked closer. On the string, there's no nock point buckle where your arrows nock rests so it is in the same place all the time. There's nothing there at all, not even like the cheap ones where you have those rubber finger tabs you slip over the string, so you'll nock at a different point every shot until fixed. (I have nock pliers and some extra buckles to put 1 on, but as a set, it should have at least come with it, even if not attached...and maybe even the string should have been wound so it would be at a decent brace height for the bow...) The string comes unwound, so you will have to do your measurements yourself to get the right twists for the brace height. In the listing, it says the brace height if you look at the one with the measurements. The bow comes with no arrow rest, so you shoot off the shelf until you buy accessories. The arrows are nocked with the odd color up (like compound.) I had to change that after my plunger, arrow rest and sight came in. I had to order some. The arrows seem to fly fine, just wish they were nocked for recurve not compound. Just another thing I had to do to fix it. I hate that the main picture shows the arm guard and the finger tab as those don't come with it. It also doesn't feel as strong as 30LBS. I have 30lb bows and 25lb bows. It feels as weak as my 25lb bow and the arrows fly like I'm shooting a weaker bow. I would say it's a beginner bow, but it doesn't come with all you need to get up and running... and you have to fix so many things to get it working right. But the arrows fly, the bow works. Once you get all the parts on it and get it fixed up, it does work, it's just that you have to put in the work to get it right as it's not ready out the box without some tuning and measurements and extra parts that seemed to come with it, but didn't. I luckily do have arm guards and fingers tabs (not enough for the user of this bow, so we ended up having to share between shots... but I was expecting it to come with it, as it was in the image, so I didn't go looking for one beforehand) overall, it is a decent bow for beginners, but they will have to get it set up if they want to get similar results with each shot. When using my main bow, I was able to get Most of the arrows to group, so the arrows weren't bad. My main deduction came from the accessories that weren't included despite appearing to be included in the listing based on the images, and because the arrows were nocked incorrectly. If I get a recurve bow with arrows, I expect the arrows to not be set up for a compound bow. So -1 star for the accessories that appeared to be in the listing, but weren't, for the arrows being incorrect for the type of bow and the string not including some sort of nock point... If not for that, it could be a half decent bow right out the box. Maybe not one I'd use over my main bow, but still one I'd let my guests use and know they wouldn't feel it's holding them back. I mean, it is a half decent bow now that I have all the accessories for it and rotated the nocks on the arrows to be the correct orientation. It took some force, but it worked. So, some accessories you may need are: nock points and pliers for it. (hopefully round ones made for doing the exact thing) ruler to measure 7.1"/18cm brace height - provided in listing image (you can find a set with nock points pliers and the ruler that hooks onto the string if you search nock points) finger tabs of same sort. Arm guard (don't want to hit your arm...It stings.) Arrow rest if you don't want to shoot off the shelf (aim is more forgiving of arrow types with it) sight (if you want to aim more easily) You'll have to buy most of these things even with higher end bows.
