Crimpadora en dos pasos. De calidad excelente, se ajusta a la mano perfectamente.

j'avais l'habitude d'utiliser une Plato SN-02B qui sertissait du molex proprement, en une seule passe (mors d'isolant et de conducteur). Mais le sertissage des broches Dupont nécessitait un doigté et un réglage de profondeur très délicat et minutieux, sous peine d'écraser l'intégralité du connecteur Avec cette pince, de bien meilleure qualité que ma SN-02B Chinoise, il faut effectuer deux sertissage distincts, l'un pour le conducteur, l'autre pour l'isolant. Mais la lame est assez étroite pour ne pas risquer d'abimer le fût du connecteur Dupont femelle (idem pour les VH et NH). Et accessoirement, la pince donne d'excellents résultats sur les petits modèles de cosses faston. La ferule du connecteur s'enroule proprement, comme elle le ferait avec une véritable pince Molex (laquelle coûte 4 à 6 fois plus cher). Mors en acier forgé et non estampés en série, poignée en élastomère, agréable à la main (les photos sur le Web laissent penser à un plastique de mauvaise qualité, ce n'est absolument pas le cas) ressort de rappel (en compression) un peu mou qui demande à être "étiré" avant la première utilisation. Si cette pince est utilisée avec soin pour ne sertir QUE des connecteurs électroniques genre molex ou dupont, sa durée de vie sera... largement supérieure à celle de son utilisateur.

This product is simple and it is not luxurious and it does not shout "precision!", but it is well-made and finished and the jaws mate together properly. The handle has detailing on it that must have been inspired by a Gundam - maybe not the most comfortable handle if you are going to crimp 1000 connections in a day. There are multiple sets of crimp jaws for crimping various kinds of terminals to wire. Like every other ENGINEER tool I have, it just works. Not sure what else there is to say? I am really happy I bought this after the more fancy ratcheting crimper I bought completely disappointed. You don't need a ratchet - your hands are easily strong enough to crimp these little connectors in one go, and getting a ratchet to release so you can clear the tool when the tool has messed up the crimp is so annoying. Perhaps if you're on a billion dollar contract you should buy the genuine Molex branded crimpers, a specific tool for each individual part number, and perhaps they would be better but at the price I will never know. Wish I had bought these a long time ago. (Crimping tip - wires with soft insulation, like PVC, crimp well. Wires with harder insulation like PTFE crimp better if the conductor part of the wire is stripped first.)

Nach langen suchen nach einer günstigen und guten Crimpzange, habe ich mich für eine Engineer der PA Serie entschieden. Die kosten zwar immer noch ca 40-50€, aber wenn man die Kontakte sauber Crimpen möchte, wüsste ich jetzt keine günstigere Alternative. Denn umso kleiner die Kontakte, umso präziser muss die Crimpzange arbeiten. Und das macht die, in meinem Fall, PA-20, wirklich klasse. Allerdings sind 2 Arbeitsschritte notwendig, zuerst für den Drahtcrimp danach für den Isolationscrimp. Doch für den Heimwerkerbereich sehe ich das nicht als Nachteil, sondern eher als Vorteil, da man so das Werkzeug vielseitiger für verschiedene Crimpkontakte nutzen kann. Ebenso muss man auch das Gewicht der Zange hervorheben, denn es macht schon einen riesigen unterschied ob mit ca.150g der PA, oder mit min.300g einer aufwendigeren Quetschzange in der Hand gearbeitet wird. Schwer empfand ich die Vergleichbarkeit der Zangen, mit der Produktbeschreibung auf der Engineer Homepage, bezüglich verwendbarer Crimpgrößen/kontakte und Kabelquerschnitte, da gleiche Crimpweiten wohl nicht für gleiche Kontakt u. Kabelgrößen gelten,?. Nachdem ich mit der PA-20, nun einige Zeit gearbeitet habe, kann ich nur sagen, ich bin mit den Ergebnissen sehr zufrieden. Mein Fazit lautet, eine sehr gut verarbeitete, leichte, sauber arbeitende, universal einsetzbare und relativ günstige Crimpzange.
