Bought this for my RV and it is perfect. It fits right above the door of the RV so I can hang an insulated curtain to block out the cold and heat when needed. I love that this curtain rod is so slim and not round as the round one wouldn't fit in the space I need to mount the brackets. These brackets are very slim and fit perfect in a small space where you wouldn't be able to mount a round rod holder. They are beautiful too and are very heavy duty so you don't have to worry about the weight of your curtains causing the rod to bow in the center of the rod. Of course this one is short because my door width in an RV is narrow so its not a problem either way, but we also purchased one to go across the width of the RV behind where the driver and passenger seats are so we could put a curtain behind our seats for the purpose of keeping the heat and air up in the front when we are traveling down the road. In an RV, beause it is so long and open it is difficult to keep the front warm or cool when driving it and just running the cab heat/air because it is trying to cool/heat the entire RV. By putting up one of these curtain rods across the width of the RV then we put an insulated curtain there and when its pulled across it helps to hold the heat or cold up in the front of the cab much better. I highly recommend these curtain rods. Once you click to add t to your cart then it will ask you for the exact measurements and they custom cut your rod to your specifications and they adjust it so that it will slide down into the wall anchors/rod holders. It fits perfect too. They also ship quickly and the rod comes well packaged so there is no damage done during the shipping process. The rod that is the width of the RV is very long and even with the weight of all those heavy curtains, it holds up very well and absolutely no bowing or bending. This is an impressive service - closet rods customized to my own measurements. I measured the distance between the closet side panels at several locations with a laser, and put the exact measurement in on the order page. A week later, the rods arrive and the measurements are spot on. I'm using these rods as sturdy shelf supports rather than clothes hanging, so I needed to trim the shelves in the area around the brackets to make the shelf fit, but that was simple enough. They're not cheap, but they do the job nicely. It's a lot easier than buying oversized lengths from HD, Lowes, etc, and having to shorten them.

Size was perfectly cut. It was easy to install & very sturdy. Now that I see how well it worked out I will order again to finish my closets. I HIGHLY recommend.

I’m really impressed with the quality of this bar. It’s a great upgrade for Ikea closets. I installed one in my walk‑in closet, and I plan to use it again for my coat closet and upcoming laundry room project.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I absolutely love these curtain rods. Super sleek and allow for a high closet install. Meaning I could get them almost all the way to the top of the closet so there's no gap at the top between my ceiling and curtain. My one note for those installing is the little end to end receivers. They have these little button like protrusions. There's no instruction on what to do with them (that I could find) I ended up finding my placement of where I wanted to install the receiver, screwed it in lightly, and then took a soft hammer to tap on the receiver. That left a small indent in the wall. From there I just used a drill bit, drilled out the indents. and then screwed them all the way in. Perfect!!

This is the best closet/curtain rod I've ever seen. It's rock solid, cut exactly as it should be if you measure correctly, and honestly once you've got it installed it'll be there for life without issue. I definitely had some issues getting this installed, although I did get it eventually and I love it now that it's over. Why was it difficult for me to install you ask? You can barely see this in the photos, but the end brackets have two pegs on the back of them. These are great for keeping the end brackets from rotating around the single screw that keeps them in the wall, but they ended up causing me issues. First issue was that I had to drill 4 extra holes in the wall for the pegs to go into so the bracket would be flush to the wall. No big deal by itself. HOWEVER, if you purchase this with a center support bracket then you're in for an adventure. Since the end brackets can't turn because of the pegs in the wall you can't just mount the rod with the center bracket and then rotate the bar into the end brackets. You also can't mount the bar with the end brackets already on it because the bar covers the screw hole. You ALSO can't just drop in the bar from the top like you would without the center support because the center support completely surrounds the bar. So you end up in this unfun situation where you have to do a ton of tweaking, pushing, pulling, loosening, and tightening until you somehow finally manage to get everything mounted in place. Took me 3 hours and a file to take off less than 1/16th of an inch off the bar to get it installed the way I wanted to. Now that it's installed I honestly think I could do pullups on it, it's so solid. Am I uneducated in the ways of closet bar installation? Yes. Am I still going to give this 5 stars because it's a rock solid piece of hardware that was totally worth the time to get it installed? Also yes. You should buy this too.

I carefully measured several times before ordering and confirmed the measurements again after the rod arrived. The seller accounted for the brackets, but another mm or two shorter would have helped. Once the brackets were completely flush, we were able to squeeze the rod in

We had a custom closet done but didn’t have enough hanging space. We already knew the measurements. This rod worked great.
