It’s the same size as a medium duffel bag. The bag is soft so it can be scrunched, squeezed or pushed into a space. If over pack, a good suggestion is to pack a small-medium foldable duffle bag in your bag so you can take out any excessive items and put them in there for the under seat compartment. Fits enough for up to seven days of clothing (if you roll your clothes or vacuum seal). Will fit laptop as well if you pack along the back strap side (easy pull in an out for TSA). I prefer this bag as my go to carry on as it has fit on even the smallest commercial planes.
