SOG Flash at - Blackout - Partially Serrated

The only quality knife I could find with deep carry clip, over center locking, with a large serrated high quality edged blade!

Its sad to have to write this review as an owner of three other SOG knives that were awesome but this knife has some serious issues, you just cant get this knife to open properly. Forget one handed, you have to pry it open with two fingers, and then it pops open. I have attempted three times to get ahold of SOG Customer Support and I just get dumped into voicemail. Dont waste your money on this knife!!!!

Serrations are terribly ugly in person. Lock is amazing and size is good. Slip snags on pocket if pushed fully in

Like others have mentioned assisted technology is a joke on this knife. It is so tight that you literally have to use 2 hands to open. No amount of working it open/close or lubricating oil seems to change that. I am a huge SOG fan and never imagined it would not be functional so I threw away all the packaging immediately. Otherwise I would return it.

I've owned SOG knives for years. Super high quality, great feel, and smooth action. This one's Assisted Technology is like trying open a beer bottle with your thumb. I can't get it to budge. I can only open it with the blade. Pretty disappointed, this one is going back.

This is an well built knife. The grip is not to smooth as to be slippery, the grooved grip feels good in your hand. The pocket clip is a low carry design, very small but strong. The pocket clip is reversible to allow you to carry either left or right and hold the the knife securely in your pocket almost completely out out of site, except for the clip. The blade is partially serrated and very sharp from the factory. One handed opening is easy do to the thumb tab assisted opening feature.Al in all a great knife just with it was both designed and made in the USA not just designed here.
