I love this shelving unit! I bought it as an entryway display case of sorts for my bedroom. The product measurements were accurate and assembly with two people went very quickly. It comes with hardware to nail the back of the unit to your wall because otherwise it’s a bit wobbly. But I plan to remedy that with heavy books and decor on the bottom shelves. Lots of storage with 10 cubby-like holes. Looks modern and well made for a good price.

Overall I really enjoy this bookcase. The directions were super clear and simple- which is great for someone like me who is not handy whatsoever. I usually have to do a lot of mental work to understand instructions but this was straight and to the point! I also love that they added gloves and a few other pieces for your convenience. I have built 3 bookcases and this has been the easiest by far. I didn’t use any power tools so it did take about 2 hours to put together, but overall i’m super happy with how it turned out! My only issue was that there was no preset holes for the backing, so I ended up just not adding in the backing. I was also super worried it wouldn’t be tall enough to fit my larger books but it fits everything perfectly! It looks great in my room and is far more sturdy than any other bookshelf i’ve bought!!

OK, so first impression out of the box I thought that the boards for the bookcase looked too thin. I was really scared that they weren’t going to be able to hold the weight of books that I own. I was debating on returning because I just didn’t trust it while I was holding the boards in my hands. I decided to give it a shot anyway because I was tired of my books just sitting in moving boxes and taking up space. I purchased two of these bookcases because my room has sloping walls so a regular bookcase wouldn’t have fit height wise. I was pleasantly surprised and was definitely proven wrong in this case. I like the fact that the bookcase came with screws to keep everything together instead of those tiny wood dowels. Usually when items come with the dowels I end up having to use wood glue in order to keep everything together so that it doesn’t just fall apart, plus it’s messy and takes awhile to dry. So this was a definite positive it makes it seem a lot sturdier and doesn’t look like it’ll fall apart easily. The only thing that I used the wood dowels for was for the bottom baseboard which came with 2 of them. It also had screws on the sides to keep the baseboard together. Instructions are easy to understand and all the pieces are clearly labeled so just make sure you are paying attention to that. It comes with a little Allen wrench but unless you want to be building this the ENTIRE day I’d suggest getting a drill. This can definitely be done by one person and a power tool. However, I would recommend two people do it since the boards might need to be held in place while you work on one side at a time. Seeing as I was by myself I just used the wall to stabilize it while I drilled away. I did not use the shelf board backing and left it open backed instead. Took off a star because it just felt too flimsy and pointless tbh and it looks nicer without. It took me a little over an hour to build the first one because I had to stop a few times to give my dog some scratches and petting otherwise he would be standing on the materials I was using🙄 he’s needy in case y’all didn’t realize and also kind of an a-hole when he doesn’t get attention (we think he was a cat in another life). 2nd one took me about 30min to build once I set him up with a treat puzzle toy and somewhere where he could see me lol. All in all really great bookcase. It shouldn’t take too long to build as long as you don’t have distractions etc.

Okay, probably the easiest thing to build! Instructions were clear, but it honestly was so simple! It look me less than 30 minutes to build! And I had to stop to feed my baby! So nice! Very nice quality!! It is a little wobbly so I would definitely recommend mounting it to the wall, it come with the hardware to secure it to the wall!

Cute and small bookshelf. I didn't have any problem tapping small nails on the back since it was laid face down on floor and easy to hammer in. Color matches my table. The wood is smooth and fit together nice, except one thing...it was missing 2 holes to screw special screws in. I used the wood screws in the package and a drill. This bookshelf is not big. It's only uneven, because the floor is crooked and I put base hundred cards under feet to balance. Would I buy it again? Yes.

This is my sixth time buying these shelves, they are that good! A couple years ago I purchased the mint green and blue with the baseboard bottoms, but this review is for the 'pear yellow' with legs. Firstly, I'm not sure why it's called 'pear yellow' because the picture is accurate in showing a faux wood grain similar to maple. It looks fantastic! These shelves are incredibly easy to assemble and I have assembled them without any help. They only use a single kind of screw, the instructions are very easy, and when finished these shelves are wonderfully sturdy. Honestly, for the price, these shelves beat more expensive options from places like IKEA or other economy sellers. I was really impressed that now the maker is color dipping the tops of the screws so it matches the furniture (in the past the screw heads were hidden with little dot stickers that matched the furniture). I was really pleased with the legs - it will make vacuuming under them easy. If you're looking for some easy to assemble, pretty, sturdy shelves, do not hesitate to buy these!

Honestly, I don't hate it. But it's cheap. It needs some weight to the item because it's wobbly and slides around. Yes, I should fasten it to the wall, but I don't want to put holes in the wall because we rent, and I don't want to patch a bunch of holes when we move out. I also don't have children at home, and the bookcase sits beside my desk. If they made just the board at the bottom out of a thick, heavier pressboard, it would be enough to add stability and stop it from sliding around. Then I'd be giving it 5 stars. But for the price, it looks nice and does work as intended—it provides a place for the books and binders I use for work instead of stacking them on my desk. It was easy to assemble. The instructions were clear. And it came with everything needed for assembly. So that's a win!
