I have used this iPad case for the past FOUR YEARS. I haven’t lost my Apple Pen once in that time thanks to the convenient slot at the top. Magnetically closing the case is very useful and keeps the screen clean. The case can take all sorts of scuffs and dirt, and has held up really well. Propping the iPad up at an angle is quite useful to me as an artist. Buttons are pretty easy to use, installation was pretty straight forward so long as I recall correctly. The case is slim so it fits in a bag easy. I would not recommend this case for small children, but for a late teen or adult it’s great. I actually haven’t used the keyboard in a while. For the money, it was great, but I’m more of a pc fellow when it comes to keyboards. It’s a pretty good value, especially considering it includes a keyboard!

I ended up buying the black one because I didn’t like any of the colors they had. The black one is just really classic. I can just carry it around and it looks great. The Apple Pencil fits really well inside of the socket and you can take it out of the socket of the case really well it doesn’t stick in there and give you a hard time. The keyboard is really thin and lightweight. Sometimes I feel like I’m gonna snap it because it’s so light weight and the magnet is so strong on the case but that’s a good thing. you can close the ipad with the keyboard in the case too but i have a screen protector so i dosent scratch the actually ipad screen. Whenever I don’t need a keyboard, I just take it off and put it inside my desk so I don’t lose it and no water gets on it. I haven’t been able to tell if it charges your Apple Pencil while it’s inside of the case I don’t think it does but that’s fine it’s not really that big deal to me. I’ll just charge it on its own. if it does i’ll come back and review it. The keyboard has the same set up as any other keyboard so it’s not like you’re trying to learn a new keyboard, if you know what i mean? It’s really classic and original to every other keyboard, and you can lower down the volume, fast forward, pause, play, lock the computer, brightness down and up, and rotate the screen with the keyboard buttons which is a cool aspect. The only downside is is that I bought a screen protector that feels like you’re writing on paper and it doesn’t quite fit on the iPad with the case. It makes these weird bubbles in the corner like it’s lifting up. That’s my only issue but I fixed it with putting tape on it and wrapping around the corners of the iPad so that kind of fixed it. It does look a little bit weird but that’s fine to me because I don’t use my iPad for anything else but being at Home. so the case is snug and may lift your screen protector. or maybe i just need to fix my screen protector so it fits better but i feel like i tried for a long time and it still does it

It's a good quality case and the keyboard works immediately. The only issues, which are to be expected at this price point, are that the keyboard isn't super responsive. It's not bad if you're only typing a few sentences, just do it slowly. The other thing is that with a screen protector on the iPad the case lifts it up at the corners which causes bubbles. This may be from my specific screen protector but someone else mentioned it happened to them. Overall it's good if you just use you're iPad casually. If you need to type a lot a type fast you may want to look elsewhere.

I bought this a while ago, but waited to write a review because I wanted to see how it would hold up. Well, as you can see, it has held up wonderfully! I use my iPad daily. Open, close, prop up open then in & out of my bag. It is also very sleek looking! Overall, I love this case!

Full disclosure, when it arrived, it was clear this was used and returned. The seal on the box was broken, packaging/instructions were clearly just haphazardly thrown in and the keyboard has scuffs and signs of use. It seems to work fine after charging but due to some design choices, we will probably choose a different case next time. PROS: came quickly, works, slot for stylus is nice and magnets are strong enough to make sure keyboard stays in place. CONS: keyboard is on the heavy side so with tablet and case it’s hefty, you have to turn backlight off on the white keyboard to read letters on keyboard in well-lit areas as the backlight on white is hard on the eyes, you can’t disable the function keys up top and the “lock tablet” button is right above the backspace on the delete key, meaning while typing you can occasionally lock the tablet which is annoying and who needs a function key for copy/paste when there are keyboard shortcuts? To set it upright so it shows like the picture, you have to pull the keyboard up from the magnets and reposition it lower every time and move it back before you can close the case. Also if you have an iPad, it doesn’t talk to the batteries widget so you can’t monitor the keyboard charge with your other accessories. Just a heads up on some things to consider. Overall it’s fine for the price. You get what you pay for.

Bought to replace original case for my tablet splitting because of age and use. This case keeps the tablet safe. It has the advantage of a keyboard connecting to the tablet by bluetooth. The connecting was easy, quick and straightforward. The keyboard has some multipurpose keys to aid its versility. Charged by USB lead the charge seems to last for ages - I am still on the first charge. In use the keys are illuminated which is a boon in dim lighting conditions. Finally the keyboard has a metal back. The tablet case is well made and has a magnetic flap to hold it closed. When opened the tablet is secured well in the moulded plastic space. Adjacent to the tablet is a space fpr a tablet pen. Again this is held securely and is easily removed by using an access slot underneath allowing a finger to push the pen out. On the other side of the tablet space is room for the keyboard. This has magnetic strips running down each side which hold the metal back of the keyboard nicely in place. In use the tablet can be in the case flat on its back either with the tablet keypad or with the USB connected keyboard. I have not tried the range of the keyboard but regularly use it a metre away. Ridges on the case allow the tablet to be propped up if that is a preferred position.
