Is this a two-way valve? meaning can I fill a cylinder back using this valve?

I don't believe there is a check valve inside. It should work. However the tank you are filling FROM needs a dip tube inside. This valve IS threaded for a dip tube. You would need to get the tube separately. The distributor hooks up to this type valve to refill cylinders. But their source has a dip tube.

Be warned! 3/4" NGT = 1" threads

I guess I could have done research but if you're a layman replacing a part how would you know? I received the part and it did not fit my tank. I later found out that 3/4" NGT threads actually measure 1" and are for steel tanks. Aluminum tanks use 3/4" UNF which measures actual 3/4". Be careful what you're ordering!
