Q: What does this smell like? In general

The scent is very clean and pleasant, not cloying nor overpowering. I'd describe it as a light citrus smell, particularly of pomelo (a type of grapefruit), also reminiscent of Japanese Ramune soda. It almost makes you want to taste it (not recommended). The smell does not linger after rinsing and drying off though.

Q: Has anyone used this for tattoo aftercare?

I would just use cold to light warm water and a towel then lather a thin amount of petroleum jelly you don't want to use soap on a tattoo soap drys the skin therefore making it more dull and a tattoo is suppose to last not dry out. If the artist tells you to use soap ask for suggestions but I wouldn't recommend using soap because it will damage the skin short term and long term.

Q: Is there alcohol in this? I find “antibacterial” too hard to be true without alcohol.

Can 100% tell you that benzalkonium chloride is an antibacterial substance, no need for alcohol. There are medical-grade single use benzalkonium chloride wipes used for medical procedures so it does work. It is also common in many other hand soaps and antibacterial products.

Q: Is it supposed to be yellow? The image shows the gel being clear but mine is super yellow. I might return the product.

I have the same concern, first one I bought was a lil bit bigger and completely clear this one is smaller and yellowish… am I getting a fake one?
