I have had several of these units, some of them for many years. They have been working reliably. The unit looks sleek, can adjust its brightness depending on room conditions so won’t keep you awake annoying lights, and has a fan so it’s actually sampling the air properly. Awair provides an API that lets it connect to home automation systems such as Home Assistant, even if there is no Internet connection available. I have hundreds of her automation devices in my house, and this is one of the easiest to work with. The Awair works well and stores long history, and integration to other apps is possible via their local API. I sometimes wish that it detected a few more properties of air, but that would push the price up and the most important ones are already covered.

This has saved my sanity. You have chemicals in your dwelling but can't convince any else about it? Get this device, please. Analysis the air quality inside your home. Suddenly, you see and know what the problem is your air is; and hopefully Do something about it. Strongly recommend this device. Great after sales support too.👍

This would have been 5 stars but the integration with other apps such as IFTTT, Alexa, etc, has been withdrawn even though it still states on the website and the packaging that they are supported.

Awair Element is exactly what I was looking for. It appears to be very accurate and reactive - the metrics change almost immediately when you start cooking / vacuuming around it. The temperate reading is also very accurate. The app used to set it up also works perfectly fine. Contrary to some other commenters' experience I cannot hear the fan in my meter, it's completely silent.

So good I bought another one! You really have no idea how much air quality can impact your day until you start measuring and making changes. This is a really smart looking but more importantly functional device with a great app to back it up.

I purchased it for home automation to trigger my air filter, but unfortunately this product do not support Google home, alexa or IFFT. Which makes this product worthless comparing the cost. On the box they mentioned it supports Google and Alexa which is a miss selling with wrong information. Awair need to fix this issue.

Bought it hoping for it to work with WiFi / my phone / google home. Had issues connecting to google home, emailed their customer support who said they have now removed support for google home, even though the amazon listing says they support it

Ho atteso del tempo prima di scrivere una recensione, poiché non sapevo come valutare il prodotto. Non possiedo alcun altro misuratore di nulla, esclusa la temperatura e umidità con cui io possa confrontare le misurazioni. L'avevo comprato per capire se dentro casa la concentrazione di anitride carbonica , durante la cucina, aumenta troppo. Su questo ho avuto conferma, basta che a pranzo io vada al ristorante e la situazione diventa accettabile. Per gli altri parametri, ho potuto solo riscontrare un aumento delle polveri sottili (PM 2,5) quando "fresano" l'asfalto per riasfaltare sotto casa (3° piano). Ma la cosa che mi ha positivamente sorpreso è che dopo oltre 2 anni dall'acquisto l'assistenza risponde immediatamente, con cortesia e accuratezza. Avevo pulito l'apparecchio con un getto di aria da una bomboletta, ma tutto si è risolto.

Niet kopen. App werkt niet. Kan geen account aanmaken via google, facebook, of via email en wachtwoord. Zit gewoon vast op beginscherm dus. Lees eerst de Google Play Store reviews. Ik merk nu dat die om een of andere reden wel terecht negatief zijn in tegenstelling tot de amazon reviews. Niet kopen.

Erg goed product. Ik was me niet bewust van de invloeden van dagelijkse activiteiten en routines op mijn binnenlucht. Het apparaat merkt het al op als je deo op spuit. Echter de zeer vervuilende zaken als vlees bakken of een vuile oven aanzetten doen je pas echt realiseren wat dit doet met de kwaliteit van je lucht. Ook wanneer je met gezelschap in huis zit merk je hoe snel de zuurstof minder wordt. Voor ons de trigger om betere ventilatie te installeren en vaker te luchten. Even de afzuigkap aan is serieus niet voldoende

Sehr präzises Messgerät, Meldet alle 30 Sekunden an Home Assistant. Die Anzeige auf dem Gerät selbst ist sehr gut, dezent und alle Informationen sichtbar. Etwas teuer, aber vergleichbare Sensoren mit all diesen Messwerten sind in der gleichen Preisspanne.

Yes, it works with a local app that means that you can use it with HomeAssistent and other Software. But unfortnuatly you have to set up the device useing the app. You have to chosse the device and than click on Airwar+ in order to activate the local api, the describtion is not enterly right. You have to choose the device first. Despite to rumors on reddit it is still working with the actual firmware 1.3.0 and app version 4.14.12
