So far, so good.
I have a cheap set of dongle type wireless adapters that were going out so I decided to splurge on the G10s. I have not used these in a gigging situation, but at home these work great. I can still get no dropout or interference with a brick wall, furnace, and a wireless router in a direct line between my guitar and receiver about 15' apart. Noticeable dropout didn't occur for another 10 or 15' so I bet with a direct line of site it would be close to advertised. I like the easy plug and play setup. I can't compare to more expensive setups, but this seems to do the trick for me.

Great wireless system.
So I have been rocking an old Nady wireless system since the early 2000's that survived some pretty serious abuse over the years but it finally died. I was dying a little inside when shopping for a replacement and seeing the prices for a decent wireless system these days. After reading through several online testers the consensus was that this was the best in it's class and price range. At the time of purchase, this was on sale for $150 so I pulled the trigger and ordered it. I've been running it pretty hard for a couple of months now and I have zero complaints. I have even forgotten to put it back on the charger after hours of playing and recording, then plug it in the next day and just keep playing. I would trust this to keep running through a full gig with no problem at all. Some have mentioned problems with noise and interference but I haven't gotten any of this, even with the unit surrounded by lots of other audio equipment. The signal quality is great as I can walk all the way to the other end of the house with several walls between me and my amp and the signal is still flawless. The battery life is phenomenal because, as mentioned above, I forgot to charge it after a practice session and it still worked the next day. This is well worth it and I'm glad I got it.

Don't stand between the transmitter and reciever...
I actually bought a used one some how the first time (had a sticker that thanked me for giving the product a second life). I totally thought that was why i had so many issues with it, so I sent it back and bought another (hoping this time it actually was "new"). But even when the "new" one arrived, it responded the exact same way... if i turned my body and put it (my body) in line between the transmitter and the receiver it would drop the signal entirely. I could barely get 6 feet from it and the signal would degrade drastically (is that why they call it a "line 6", it has to be inline at no more than 6 feet?). When I entered a room with an active WiFi router... it cut out at random intervals, often. I was super disappointed. If you stand real still and keep the receiver on the floor just below the transmitter where there is no WiFi signal transmitting... it's awesome. It stayed charged OK... was very easy to use, plug and play... but beyond that... not so much. My search for playing without a cord continues...

CUTS OUT, TRIED EVERYTHING LINE 6 TOLD ME TO DO
sort of worked from the beginning. it would slightly cut out here and there, I figured it was just needing to be set on the right channel. tried all different channels and none helped. I stand about 10 feet away from it on our stage at church. I contacted Line 6 and walked through everything they told me to do. In the defense of Line 6, they even sent me a new transmitter. But it still drops out no matter what I do. now I'm past the return date.

Impressive if you got a good unit
First one I received was DOA and transmitter would charge for 1-2 minutes and bail out, signaling red-amber. Support was reachable within 10 minutes and they advised to return it. Amazon accepted return and shipped replacement even before I returned dead unit. Easy. Second one (received next day) works just fine. I live in an 3 story apartment and have 2 wifi routers, every neighbor around has at least 1, also I have hue lights, wifi fans, wireless 5.1 sound and plenty of other wireless stuff. Pretty busy RF environment. So far I don’t have any problems with dropping signal or latency, I can walk around to other rooms and keep playing with no interference or interruption. I’ll update the review after some time passes or if it breaks suddenly but so far I’m very satisfied. 1 star off for DOA unit.

Great wireless rig!
Great wireless rig! Charge lasts a long time. I had to learn the hard way, that once it is charged you shouldn't plug it all the way into the dock when not in use. It will drain the wireless 1/4 stereo jack.

2.4ghz interference is REAL.
I have the relay system for my yamaha thr30 amp and it works beautifully in my bedroom. I decided to get the full system for my living room amp, which is in the same room as the wifi router, and I get nothing but interference or no sound at all on every channel once i get more than a few feet away, If I turn around the sound cuts out entirely. The system works great if you have no other 2.4ghz signal in the room, but I had to return it because it was effectively unuseable in the room I need it in. Something to consider. It does NOT work in all situations. Back to a long cable.....
