The only nitpik I have with these is that there aren't enough rollers to do ALL of my hair. If you have very thick and fairly long hair like me, you may find you run out of rollers. Trying to use very large, thick sections of hair for each roller is problematic and I gave up on that. But since you start from the top of your head, it adds body and volume to the top layers, and the very bottom layer of hair I either leave alone, or give a very quick curl with the curling iron just at the ends. I use the "superclips" that come with the package. I did order the wire clips since everyone seems to say they are better. I couldn't really figure out how to secure them. Gets really hot so I usually have to unplug it and let it cool just a bit before I use it.
