Vinchef Nonstick Deep Frying Pan Skillet with Lid, 11in/5Qt Saute Pan, German 3C+ Ceramic Coating Technology, Heat Indicator, Induction Compatible

I wasn't sure when I got this pan if the factory thought every single woman who is as old as I am would have a Philips head screwdriver laying around to finish the manufacturing process. But the pan came with the handle unattached. I almost had to stand on the pan to get the handle in the slots and then add the screw. Other than this the pan is fabulous. It is a coated stainless steel. I ordered a 10 inch skillet and it is 10 " across at the top. However, when you take into account the slant of the sides there is only 8" of cooking surface. I have noticed this with some other pans as well. so I am wondering if there is no standardization in measuring these things. I do like the indicator in the handle that lets you know when the pan is hot enough. But this pan would not do for a family meal. I cooked two eggs and 3 brown and serve sausages for myself and my dogs. But it was not large enough for 3 strips of bacon and the two eggs. This pan cooks very nicely and cleans up easily. The non stick surface is on the outside of the pan as well and makes for easy cleanup of that surface as well. The lid came well packaged and overall, I would recommend this pan to a friend who only cooks for one or needs a smaller pan for sauces and gravies, etc. I also like that the pan is deeper and I will be able to deep fry without worrying if I can put enough oil in it to do the job. Just order a few inches larger than what you actually need.

I read a lot of reviews here on Amazon and also online before making my decision to purchase 2 of these Vinchef pans during Prime Days. Everything that I read about this cookware was spot on. I followed the very simple instructions to season them and put them to the test right away. NOTHING sticks to theses pans and clean up is sometimes just a quick wipe out with a paper towel. The pans are lightweight and has a deeper pot wall then other saute pans, making it so much more versatile. Because the induction bottom evenly heats the pan from the center out there is no need to cook on high temperatures. The heat indicator on the handle makes it easy to know when your pan has reached temperature. I will be replacing the rest of my cookware with this brand on the next Prime Day!

The pan is awesome. It is still non stick even after 6months of use. The handle becomes slightly loose over time but I do cook a lot with it. It doesn’t get scratched at all which is very impressive. It is easy to clean as well. I would huy it again.

Best pan ever. I prefer this pan over my Lodge cast iron skillet! I have had my large pan & lid for 2 + years and looks like new. The us no change in the surface nothing sticks! One of the safety measures that I like is that the handle has a heat indicator in the top so you know not to grab the handle. The lids great has a nice handle on the top that’s easily adjustable. Pan with the lid on is lightweight easy to handle even with my arthritic hands. I’m not a chef, but this pan cooks everything for me as well family. I feel like it’s well worth the cost and it’s definitely one of my favorite pieces.

The size is perfect for big meals and the depth makes it super versatile, I can fry, or even make stews in it. The nonstick ceramic coating really works; nothing sticks and it’s super easy to clean. I also love the heat indicator, it actually helps me know exactly when to start cooking. The lid fits well, and the pan heats evenly on my induction stove. It feels sturdy and high quality. Definitely a great addition to my kitchen.

I really like this pan. Be sure to "season" it as directed and it is truly nonstick. No oil or spray necessary once it's seasoned. It cooks evenly, seems durable but it already has a scratch on the bottom and I'm very careful to use wooden utensils so not really scratch resistant.

This is the absolute best frying pan I have ever had. Worth every penny. It is beautiful to look at, scratch proof, cooks very well. I've noticed I don't use any of my other pans. This pan is large enough for anything you'd want to prepare. Just GET IT! You won't regret it.

I have only used this a couple times since we just received it a day ago. The eggs and turkey sausage turned out perfect this morning. No stick, easy cleanup. I like the overall heft and feel of this pan. Not nearly as heavy as our cast iron in this size. Much better than stainless steel for non sticking feature. Made a fast and easy vege stir fry with pre grilled chicken breast for dinner. All cooked well. Lid on for 10 minutes then lid off for 5 minutes. Did not need to heat the oven and the house as typical. Ours arrived neatly packaged with no damage. The knob on the lid needs to be removed and reversed. I think this was for packaging and safe transport. The lid fits and is aligned well with the top edge. Only tool for this is a good Phillips screwdriver. Same for the handle. I followed the instructions and seasoned the pan with a light coating of oil for a 3 minute medium heat conditioning, wiping out excess oil. This replaces a similar but shallow aging non stick pan with a mismatched lid. This pan is so much nicer to use. I hope it proves durable as it is a keeper.
