Review: Worth the price - This system is relatively low priced, yet the quality is excellent, anything with a higher resolution was out of my budget and to be honest, 1080p is more than adequate for most use cases. At first, I was a little apprehensive, I wasn’t sure how hard it would be to install a fully wired system, however I thought it was worth the effort as a wired connection is so much more reliable. Installation was simple, there’s a handy diagram showing what the different ports are for on the back of the DVR, also mounting the cameras took minimal effort and didn’t take long. As this system doesn’t come with a HDD, it makes it much more affordable as you can pick up a second-hand 500GB/1TB hard drive for pennies these days. Overall, very pleased with this kit.

This system is relatively low priced, yet the quality is excellent, anything with a higher resolution was out of my budget and to be honest, 1080p is more than adequate for most use cases. At first, I was a little apprehensive, I wasn’t sure how hard it would be to install a fully wired system, however I thought it was worth the effort as a wired connection is so much more reliable. Installation was simple, there’s a handy diagram showing what the different ports are for on the back of the DVR, also mounting the cameras took minimal effort and didn’t take long. As this system doesn’t come with a HDD, it makes it much more affordable as you can pick up a second-hand 500GB/1TB hard drive for pennies these days. Overall, very pleased with this kit.
