Lovely dress watch.

Nice Large Dail
Nice large dial, clearly visible. Looks great with it's gold and stainless steel strap. Appears to keep good time. Definitely a dress watch though.

A very good modern watch; not perfect but not far off.
Seiko has improved its manufacturing techniques since last I purchased one of its watches. In particular, the watch strap is now a thing of real precision and beauty. It contrasts glossy centre elements with matt side elements and this works perfectly. The watch itself benefits (at least for me) in having a second hand, enabling me to monitor its time keeping; about which nothing to report so far. The watch is a good size, especially for older people. Everything is very visible except the date, which is much too small to be read except by the under twenties. The dark blue-black of the face is well-judged and helps give the watch a degree of sophistication. All the second and hour marks are very precise and very legible. Unfortunately, there is a common watch problem - the second hand does not match the dial itself, sixty seconds coming up just after top dead centre. This is annoying and surely could be rectified if Seiko really wanted to do so. But, overall, this is a very desirable watch.

Excellent Watch
Bought to replace a Seiko watch I bought in 1983. Very pleased with it. Needed to have 3 links taken out to fit my wrist but my local jeweller did that for only £15.

Perfect budget watch
Not sure what to get for everyday use, scared of buying something really expensive and scratch it’s glass? Well worry not, a brand and a budget both in one with as much fashion that can come at this price point. The perfect budget watch.
