I use this brand in all my computers. They work very well and I have never had a problem with them. Great product for a very reasonable price.

We have a low end HP All-in-One PC for our kitchen that only came with 4GB of RAM, so it was at times painfully slow at even the simpliest of tasks. After some research and online videos, I ordered the most RAM I could install in the PC, which was a total of 16GB. So for around $40, I was able to crack open the PC case and install the memory cards without issue. Now the PC runs much faster and everyone is happy. WIsh I would have done this much sooner. Crucial makes good RAM that performs well and is economical as well.

My laptop screen had been going in and out for the past few weeks and my laptop would randomly restart while I was working, turn on in the middle of the night when it had been fully shut down hours ago, and refusing to use the charger unless I unplugged and replugged it several times to make it happy (basically, it has a lot of strange problems). It restarted on me during class on a Thursday and I couldn't get the screen to turn back on, I was like whatever, it has been doing this for a bit, if I just shut it down for a few minutes and turn it back on it will work, or worst case is I'll have to go through the ridiculous process of taking it apart to unplug the battery so I can drain the excess power and then it will work (because I did that a few days earlier and it fixed the screen problem for a day, long enough to take notes in classes). This time I still couldn't get the screen to turn on and didn't have time to work on it in class or that night, so I waited until Friday to take it apart and get the battery out, but that still didn't work and I started panicking because I had three exams early the next week and all of my notes were on my laptop. I was also panicking because usually the weekend delays shipping times and I was so afraid I wouldn't be able to get in the part I needed until midweek the next week, which would have been too late. Amazon shipping was estimating that it could be to me by Monday, but I had had similar experiences before with trying to get items shipped in on short notice and they had always been a day or two late. I ordered it anyways and it sure enough was in on Monday, today! Just in time to give me a chance to get my laptop up and running again so I can study! I am so happy! I have only had my laptop working for a few hours now, so I can't tell what all replacing the ram might have fixed, but I can definitely tell that it is working much faster than before, even though I still have the same amount of ram. I will update after I have had enough time to actually tell what changes have happened (the random restarting and screen problems seem to be fixed for right now, thankfully), I just wanted to write this review so soon because I am so relieved that it came in so soon and has fixed my main problem for the time being.

Now it is must faster and well worth the upgrade. I will go for a 1 TB SSD for even more performance plus storage boost

While not the fastest or flashiest, this memory gave new life to an expensive laptop that originally only came with 4GB of Ram. Finally able to open Chrome in seconds rather than minutes without maxing out memory usage. While the old Ram was rated at 2700MHz, this is only rated at 2400MHz. Probably does not matter on the older, inexpensive laptop. Installed fine and recognized right away and sped up the old laptop considerably. Recommended.

Added 16g ram to a laptop

Very easy to install; they pop right in. The hardest part is putting the case back on. Instantly recognized. I haven't really noticed much difference yet (I upgraded from 12 GB to 16), but it should allow me to use certain video editing software that requires at least 16GB. For some reason I thought my laptop was not upgradable, but clearly I was wrong! The price was very affordable.
