QUIET, GOOD LITTLE PUMP THUS FAR.
Arrived promptly, in tact. Pump is very quite & seems to do very good. I pumped 1 gallon of water using a 10 foot tubing (way too much but only for testing). According to 100 ml/min flow rate it should take around 25 minutes to pump a gallon. Mine took about an hour but there were mishaps (tube not submersed for a while, etc.) so I think it should work about as specified without interruptions. Am using it for wine making so wondering if tubing OK (everything is known to the State of California to cause cancer!) and whether there is any duty cycle on the motor as making 5 gallons of wine would take about 2 1/2 hours, if all went perfect, which might strain the motor. Great for wine making as all one does is put tube on one end and little stub on other goes into empty jug and does not touch wine preventing contamination and slow rate of pump and small tubing orifice provides minimal disturbance of settled layer. After pump was done I smelled the motor and there was absolutely no burning smell as that is a tipoff that a motor might fail. Also the motor was warm but not unduly hot so it seems to be good. I Recommend this product.

Works great to dose chlorine for pool
I am a systems integrator so naturally my pool control setup is pretty custom. I started researching to find a cheap pump to do the chlorine dosing into my pool. A lot of the ones that forums suggested were $300 and I could not justify that much expense. I decided to take a chance on this one and I'm glad I did! It has worked flawlessly. Instead of running into the discharge piping of the filter I run via a small silicon tube directly into the pool. This pump seems pretty accurate for dosing and repeatable. The rate mine runs at is ~20sec per oz. I don't care if it takes 15 minutes to feed the 47 oz I need to dose and it may actually be a benefit to allow the chlorine to circulate instead of dumping it all at once. Tldr: I am glad I used this pump. It has worked great and it was super cheap. I plan on buying a backup one for the next pool season.

Works great, too slow for my project.
This motor works exactly as it should l, it seems well made. However, the motor is a little slower, and louder than I was hoping for. This does not mean it is bad, it is still great. Just did not work for my project.

Incredible, all other competition is 10X's the price.
Alas, I destroyed it in a week, leaking a strong electrolyte solution into the DC Motor. NOT THE MAKERS FAULT! Mine only, ordered another TWO as backup right away. VERY VERY VERY impressed. In point of fact I had a "two phase" flow I was putting in the suction. As calculated, compared to a diaphragm or a centrifugal pump, THIS pump had no problem. It's NPSH was quite adequate for pulling the solution up a foot! And then it discharge into an overhead of about 12" of "water" without a problem. (People of technical background will find this information useful.)

Does a good job!
I have this motor pulling liquid hand wash soap as part of a Science Fair project for my kid. It works perfectly with a 12v Battery and the soap dispensed is just perfect for my project. Tip: The tube used for aquarium air filter fits perfectly for this one! So visit a pet store and get the tube from there!! You will NOT find it in any hardware store. Few things I would ask for from the seller, that will make this the BEST. 1. Can you put an arrow symbol to identify which way is in and which is out? 2. Can you add instructions to change tubing. I know one can change the tube but havent found any instructions for that.

Nice Pump -Listed Current Is Too Low
This is a nice pump and works as advertised. However the listed current draw of 80mA is way too low. I measured it closer to 300mA. Adjust your power supplies accordingly.

best deal
Wired 4 of these up to some l298n motor drivers and they worked right out of the box, Awesome products, wish there were more information about the motors themselves, the Gikfun website doesn't have any good info either. I will be order another 6 soon.

Misused but still ran like a champ
I replaced the tubing with a slightly larger diameter (4mm OD, 2mm ID I think), and set it up to pump water intermittently using a float switch. The float switch failed, and this pump ended up running dry for about a month. During that time it rubbed a hole into the tubing, but when I checked on it, the motor was still running like nothing had gone wrong. Of everything in my system, this dosing pump's motor and bearing would have been the last to fail: good product.

Thank you, as was described.

Needed one for a diy automatic aquarium dosing gadget. Worked for my need but the tubing is of smaller diameter and won’t fit normal airline tubing, so I had to 3D print an adapter for it to work. It also back siphons so I had to add an extra 1ml per dose depending on length of tubing.

Its good

I bought this to replace an existing pump head. I ended up using this in its entirety with the motor. The motor is strong and the pump works nicely and quietly for me.
