Looks stunning especially after adding lights. It is quite low so I installed it on top an Ikea tv unit.

The bookcases were easy to build and actually look very nice and modern. The only problem is, one of the bookcases wasn't as well put together as the other three (I ordered four) and was damaged (metal scratched/grooved at the side of one of the shelves), which was such a shame, as they were not cheap.

Very happy with how these turned out. Some of the legs were not 100% straight, so screwing them in was a challenge. For the price, though, the results are great. It also is pretty low profile in terms of depth, so fits very well where I wanted them, behind a closet door. The bottom shelf height is perfect for clearing my high baseboards. Assembly was pretty straightforward. It definitely helped that I had an electric drill with the right bit for an Allen wrench head thingy. It probably would have been easier if I had 2 people, particularly to prop the shelf up and hold in place while screwing into the wall. Overall a good find on Amazon!

I recently purchased a wall shelf from Nathan James and while the shelf itself is absolutely beautiful, the condition in which it first arrived was disappointing. The box looked quite beat up upon delivery, and when I opened it, I was dismayed to find that all of the shelves had sustained dents and scrapes. It was clear that the packaging was insufficiently protective; there was no styrofoam, and the shelves were not tightly secured, resulting in them being all over the place within the box. This lack of proper packaging likely contributed to the damages sustained during transit. However, when I reached out to Nathan James, I was met with exceptional customer service. A wonderful associate named Claire responded promptly and helped me resolve the issue. After a few emails back and forth, I was informed that not only would the damaged shelves be replaced, but I would also receive a brand-new shelving unit free of charge. Moreover, I didn’t have to send the old one back, which I plan to keep for replacement parts if needed. Despite the initial issues, I must say the quality of the shelf is fantastic. The unit is very heavy and the shelves are made of great material. They are also wide enough to fit all of my living room books and a few decorative pieces, which is exactly what I wanted. The size is perfect and it is very aesthetically pleasing. Also extremely easy to assemble. I did it by myself in like 30 minutes, and I am 5'2 – 120 pounds. Something like this would easily be twice the price! I believe this is the dupe of the CB2 wall shelf that goes for like $500. Amazing service from Nathan James! Their excellent customer support has made me very glad I purchased from them. I will definitely be purchasing other items in the future and recommending Nathan James to my friends and family.

I initially got two of these shelves for my loft and then realized I had room for a third, so got a third and removed two shelves to make a spot for art and larger tchotchkes. It came out looking so good! A little bougie, a little modern, a little neither - exactly what I wanted. Also, those shelves can hold a ton of weight. One rail of each shelf is anchored to a stud and the other just uses the regular wall anchors that come with the shelves. (Pro-tip: use a smaller drill bit than the directions call for so the anchor gets a sturdier hold in the wall.)
