Excellent buy
I don't know how I've lived without it all this time. It's extremely well made (high quality material and construction, good, tight design, well balanced), no plastic, so easy to clean, perfect size for one large cup (but I've made two as well), and acts like a little thermos to keep the coffee hot for well over 30 minutes (not tested it for longer than 45 mins). No grounds or sediment at all! I'm amazed a product of this quality is less than $20. Way better than the stupid Bodum I was using that got grounds everywhere. I couldn't be more pleased with it, makes a terrific cup of coffee.

Great Cafetière!
I was looking for a plastic-free French Press (or Cafetière as we call them in England, due to living so close to France!), and I came across this one. It’s made to last a lifetime. Solid stainless steel, arrives fully functional and ready to go. Keeps coffee hot (just remember to turn the lid so the arrow is pointed away from the spout), and no coffee grounds floating in my coffee. Very easy to clean, and the stainless steel doesn’t leave any additional weird aftertaste which is possible with Cafetières with plastic parts. Worth every penny!

Just a brilliant unit and priced right.
$27USD. Used it for the first time today and am well satisfied. I can't imagine what could break on it. It's steel, thermal, and does exactly what I want. I used 30 ounces of water and 53g of coffee, coarsely ground. This is replacing a Keurig as the coffee is so much better. I had a similar sized one but it was glass and didn't keep the coffee hot. This does. Very impressed.

Among the very best at a great price!
I recently found my 20 yr old French press cracked. It was more than twice the price of this new one 20+ years ago. I'm really into enjoying my coffee. I have been roasting my own beans for years, and developing roast profiles as I try new ones. I love that this press is insulated! I enjoy two 12 oz mugs every morning over the span of an hour. I weigh my freshly ground coffee, and hot water on a digital scale for consistency. The results are almost perfect mugs every time! The brew time is set on a timer, depending on the type of bean I'm using. Yes, I stick to the recipies I've developed over years. This press is a great addition to my arsenal of tools as I pursue the "perfect cup". It's easy to clean, is well made, and does a better job than the one it replaced. Before purchasing, I read the reviews. Biggest complaint was you can't see thru the stainless steel.....Duhhhh!!! Measure everything! Use a scale that is accurate to 1 gram. Once you get used to it, you will have a baseline to get your coffee to the way you like it. Not rocket science! This press? Buy it! You won't be sorry!

My favorie french press
Do you know it cost just as much to replace the glass container of a french press as purchasing a whole new one? I had no idea thay came any other way. That is how I found this SS (sterling silver) FP (french press) which is the best. I purchased mine as a return from the warehouse (can't imagine why someone would return it) I thought it passed as never used. Nice and shiny, no scratches and all parts included. It does not feel cheap by any means. I knocked on the oustide with my knuckles and it sounds solid not hollow. I tested the container with boiling water and it stayed hot for 2 hrs. I have the 32 oz, at first I thought it was to big but changed my mind, it's a perfect size. I didn't know the filters could be removed/replaced or even stacked for more filtration, so now I can wash the filters and parts much easier/better. I use packaged ground coffee and never have grounds in my cup like some reviews. When I plunge the filters (I have 2) it has a snug fit keeping grounds down. I like the feel of the long handle, I can grip it and have confidence I'm not going to drop it but if I did theres no broken glass or parts. Cleaning is no different than any other FP, I do mine by hand and hand dry the outside because I want that spot free shiny look. I haven't had mine long enough to speak to rusting. I did forget to empty and clean my FP for 3 days and no signs of degrading. I like the lid idea, it is shaped for pouring and when turned blocks off liquid. The lid is not sealed in any way so liquid pours regardless of the lids position. I like this FP sooo much I'm not sure how important the lids fit justifies my rating of 4 stars, but that is my only reason for not rating a 5 star. I highly recommend this FP and am so glad I accidentally came accross it.

Non toxic and great coffee!
Only had this 2 days and I love it!!! I’ve been researching and looking for a non toxic coffee maker option. This is super easy to use, and the coffee is bold, smooth, not bitter and the flavors really come out. It retains heat pretty well too. I’m very happy with this purchase so far. I’ve used it twice so far. Clean up is super easy too.

Love love love
Love this French press. Super easy to clean, stain resistant, and keeps my coffee hot for over an hour. I’m a slow coffee drinker, so the length of time the pot keeps my coffee warm is super important to me. Makes a fresh, smooth brew. I usually let it brew for 5-10 minutes before pouring. Size is good for one person, I wish I would have gotten a bigger one, but it’s not a deal breaker. Very easy to use, little learning curve from going from an automatic machine but the quality of the brew is infinitely better. Beautiful classy design as well that looks amazing on my counter.

Great quality, keeps coeffe hot
I'm a huge fan of this French press! It actually keeps the coffee warm for a decent amount of time. Which is way better than the glass ones I've had in the past. And I bought this one after breaking the last 3 glass ones I've had. I've learned, they're very fragile. One little drop or bump and you're done! So when I was searching for other options I came across this. Not only does it seem nearly impossible to break but it also is insulated and keeps the coffee hot! Which means I can actually take my time drinking my coffee before I need a refill. I prefer French press coffee over any other kind to make it. To me it tastes better, and is way more simple than a coffee pot or the k cup thing. Plus doesn't have all the plastics involved.

Bought this metal pot as I'd just had an IKEA glass one break on me. So mostly I'm comparing it to that one but I'll also address some of the other reviews. 1. It keeps coffee hot, not sure how long people expect it, its not a flask. But when I make a pot to myself, it is nicely hot for a couple of hours. Certainly no need to rush. 2. It cleans nicely, it also leaves no dregs, so its very easy to simply tip the grounds out into the bin, it isn't a muddy gloop like others I have used that doesn't drain the whole water. Goes in the dishwasher but mostly I just give it a rinse. 3. Very sturdy and looks nice, can't see it breaking any time soon. Can't really think of anything else to say about it really, it's a metal coffee pot that works as well as I'd hoped.

I love coffee and this beats Bodum hands down! It is so beautiful and elegant and it keeps the coffee warmer for much longer than the other brand. Plus it’s durable. I broke the glass insert in the Bodum and to replace it would have cost more than this press in total. You get an extra strainer for the future too! A caution for first use is that the plunger is snug and you have to gauge the slow pressure to prevent a possible sploosh! However, the tightness ensures not even one tiny ground gets in your coffee. For coffee loving friends this would make the best gift. Why I gave it only 4 stars for use was that you have to tell by weight how much coffee you have left in the pot as you can’t see through the stainless steel! Buy it from this seller; it is cheaper than others for the same pot.

The coffee press and parts work well: it’s a tight fit, makes great French press coffee. The paint is chipping in multiple plates after only one month of daily use.
