Let me tell you.. I wanted a deep SCRUB!!! - Not a soft piece of fabric that rubs dirt around anymore. THIS WORKED! For the last 35 years I have lived in a place that had hard-water with no water-softener. If you are unfamiliar that means that there are certain minerals that cause the water to change the PH of the body, make soap not clean off you as good and possibly leave soap scum on YOU. I did not enjoy showering due to this. I would feel more DIRTY after a shower. No matter how much I scrubbed or which soaps I used. Also due to disabilities I was unable to fully properly take time to scrub for long periods of time that would cause me to feel clean. (It was a bad cycle of not wanting to shower because I just felt horrible after!!) I was also in a household that had smokers and for awhile I really had a hard time scrubbing the smell/tar off me. I bought these washcloths so that while I am in a new house (soft/cleaner water) I can start to really take off all the years of muck my previous household left on me. (I felt dead skin/grime peeling off me!) My skin is very sensitive and I use to have psoriasis so I try my best to not irritate it so it doesn't come back. I thought at first that these washcloths were NOT going to work. I wet the cloth and before I knew it.. The longer I was using it I was realizing how GREAT they were. It takes a moment to really understand that the burning you "feel" is because you are rubbing to hard! I was so used to regular washcloths that I was actually scrubbing to hard with this one. THIS IS FANTASTIC NEWS!! Pros: - Actual rough texture that leaves a smooth dull burning. (DON'T over scrub!) - Fits a larger hand, thumb grips the top just fine. - Can flip it inside out for a bit different texture. - Kind of cute with the stripes! I love the eye-blinding green and pink. - VALUE is fantastic. - THIN, but absolutely sturdy. - Simple to open plastic package. - GOOD FOR DISHES AND CLEANING bathroom/kitchen surface!! Not just for the body!! HIGHLY recommended. Cons: - Some random loose strings may come off, but just pay attention and they won't go down your drain. - I could see this being to small for some people, just right for others. - Some may find the colors tacky or too bright. They don't match anything!

I lovvve these exfoliating cloths and plan to buy more. They’re a great value for the money and get the job done. Done a little too well in my case though. But it’s a learning curve so I just want to caution anyone reading this to take your time learning what’s best for YOUR skin. When you use them try to use just a gentle bit of pressure. Consistent pressure but gentle. I either used too much pressure (I think that was the culprit for me) or I used mine too often. Or perhaps it was the combo that caused damage to my skin barrier. When your skin barrier gets damaged it creates a few problems that I’d never experienced. VERY dry, flaky skin that gets all over everything. On the inside of all my clothing (because I was thorough and scrubbed allll ovvvver my body. HUGE mistake!), on my sheets. It’s like I’m moulting! Which I wouldn’t mind if, when it was all over and done, I had the skin of my 20 year old self. Alas! It doesn’t work that way so I still have my needy, mature skin. But now I have to slather anything that moisturizes all over my skin multiple times a day. Needy skin now. Which is just plain tedious at best. So please be very careful when using these little gems. Now that I know how to properly use them, exactly how much pressure I need for my skin, I’ll continue to buy them. They don’t shrink, dry fairly quickly and I make sure I rinse them well after using them. I use mine about 3 times before I reach for a new one. And they’re a great value too. Just be very careful and take your time to figure out just how much pressure your skin needs with these.

These are the best exfoliants I’ve tried! They are just big enough to wear as a glove and don’t feel like sandpaper. I’ve been using them for over a year and they’re still intact after weekly laundry washings. They still work after you wash them but I would say about 20% less effective after. I wish I had tried washing these in an undergarment sack. Perhaps an alternative sanitizing method would keep the quality longer too.

The main complaint I read was that the towels are small; yes they are small, but if you have small hands or a brush of some kind to place it on, then they're perfectly fine. They work incredibly well, and I highly recommend trying them!

I have small hands it still doesn’t cover my whole palm

No smell or anything after opening. I have a small hand and this looked small but fit well. It doesn’t really stretch when wet but maybe expands to 1/4 of an inch longer, nothing really. Even when using it, it has never rolled off or fell off my hand so that’s good. I’ve had these for 2 months and it exfoliates really well. It feels harsh at first and maybe leaves the skin a little hot feeling but even after I put lotion on I don’t feel any stinging or anything. So even though it felt rough it didn’t scratch the skin I guess. Ive also noticed that after 2 months one side feels rougher then the other when scrubbing, it’s really the tiniest difference but not something you can see or feel by just touching it. Not sure if I I’ve been using one side more or if they come that way as it doesn’t mention it in the description. Feels like you scrubbed and buffed the skin. Definitely cleared up the bumps on the back of my arms even during this winter time. Doesn’t go so deep that it dries the skin out. Based on the info given, you need to be in the shower for a bit before using so your skin has soaked in some water. Then you wanna step away from the water and use your hand to squeegee off the water, then scrub away. Don’t rinse off the cloth after one body part even if it looks dirty because the drier the cloth is the better it works. Rinse off the cloth once you’re done with that bath/shower session. Great product. I have a pic of one for 2 months and still looks great.

I was dubious. But for the low price, it was worth a try. Great size for my big hands. Use after showering or bathing in water only for about 10 minutes. Allow the area to dry a little bit. Submerge the mitt into water, squeeze out excess and put on hand. Rub gently up and down or in circles. For the first 10 seconds, nothing, and then….oh my goodness, so so much grey strings of dead skin and grime and gross stuff! The amount that came off me was shocking but I felt amazing after. So easy to use. Wash normally after with soap or shower gel or whatever you use. Great quality too, and you get 6! I was able to gift to friends and family and still have 2 to myself. Easy to clean. I’ve never before in my life had silky skin. A week later, I did it again and once again, shocking amounts of dead skin and grime that doesn’t come away with normal washing, came gently off with no discomfort. Moisturize after if you wish. I will NEVER be without these again. Ever. Get these!
