This bike almost seriously injured me. I have had it for a little over a month. While riding one day, I went over some rail road tracks. I wasn't going very fast, maybe 7-8 MPH. As I went over them, the seat post bent back all the way down to the tire, effectively causing the bike to stop immediately. I'm not sure how, but I managed to not fall over or anything. At some point during the debacle, both of the pedals broke as well. I think it may have been because I was bracing myself. Really upset that I spent 400.00 on this thing. I should have just went to Walmart and got a cheapo for a 100 bucks, probably would have lasted longer.

If you love a coaster but want to ride some serious distance in a little more challenging conditions, this is the bike for you. My wife does road/trail rides of 25 miles with her eyes closed. I had a foot forward single speed coaster with a maximum range of about 5 miles with a gel seat and flat terrain. I bought a $500 sixteen speed hybrid thinking I could make the 25 miles - not even close. The lean forward posture killed my rear end and my front end, even with a cushy coaster seat and bike pants. The hybrid sat in the garage and I putzed around on the coaster.I did detailed research on multi-speed coasters and landed on the sixthreezero "In The Barrel" 3 speed. On my fourth ride we did 18 miles on combo road/trail - mostly flat but with some long gradual elevations, a few short, steep climbs and some wind.The upright posture, elongated frame, foot forward drive train, excellent 3 speed gear box and very supportive seat make this an amazing two wheeled machine. We will crack the 20 mile barrier on the next ride and get to 25+.So what about assembly and adjustments. Just pay very close attention to the instructions/pictures, use the right tools and you will be riding in less than a hour. The gear box will need adjustment but it is simple and has not needed additional attention. I only have two small suggestions for improvement - more substantial feeling handle bars and longer grips. The lower profile bars and shortish grips feel a bit undersized for the very beefy frame.If you want a versatile, extended range coaster, this is the bike.

Not so great for Tall Guys. I bought this bike (based on reviews) thinking it would fit me well, I am 6'3" with a 34" pant inseam. I commute to work... 2-3 miles each way. The reality is this bike "as-is" was not big/tall enough for me... with the seat post maxed out my pedal cycle still left my legs significantly bent at the bottom of each pedaling revolution... ie... so my legs were always bent at the bottom of each stroke... when ideally you leg should have a just little bend at the bottom of each stroke. So I had to buy an XXL seat post... (which barely left me with enough room). So I don't know where all this "ideal for taller guys" comes in to play with this bike... if you are over 6'2"... it probably is not ideal... (but good luck finding an affordable cruiser for Tall GUYS...let me know if you find one!!) I also replaced the very handsome seat because it was just too soft and did not offer enough support. Otherwise the bike appears to be well made, fairly simple to assemble (videos are nice), and has been riding pretty well. It is geared very light (single speed).... so going up hills has not been too much of an issue, but the flip side is it's difficult to get any momentum/speed on this bike... I am constantly being passed by fellow commuters!! lol so if you are traveling over 5 miles... it's going to take awhile. The color is Traffic Cone Neon Orange... you wont be missed riding this... lots of people like it though. The other reason I bought this bike was it should be low maintenance and easy to fix... I deciding to exit bikes with gears and cable breaks... it seems I was spending $100 a year on maintaining those systems... so this is back to basics... just like my first new bike when I was a kid... a Shwinn.

I've had this bike for 4 years now and feel like I know enough to give an informed review. Overall I enjoy this bike and most of the components are of high quality. I've loaded this bike down with kids in a handlebar mounted kid seat (iBert Safe-T), axle mounted 2 kid trailer (InStep Take 2), and a seat post mounted Wee Ride Co-Pilot and the bike never complained. With the three speed drive train and the tires, which can take much more pressure than traditional balloon cruiser tires, this bike has been great for urban riding around town, in parks, and cruising.Pros: 3 speed internal gearing works great and still has that minimalist cruiser style. Tires, rims, seat and grips all have worked well and have held up. I like that the tires can pressure up fairly high so you can ride faster than on traditional cruisers.Areas for improvement: The weak point for me on the bike were the pedals, These both broke for me within the first couple months of riding. Not an expensive fix, but i'm not sure why they couldn't spec a slightly higher component there. The brakes work, but that is all I can say about them. I live in a very flat town and wouldn't really want to test them in the hills (which isn't where you should be riding this bike anyway. The "sixthreezero" stickers on the rims are starting to discolor so I'll be taking them off soon.Ergo: I'm 5'11" with a pretty short inseam and a long torso. For me the seat and the stem end up about as high as they go. It was a bit of a stretch to reach the stock handlebars causing me to lean a little forward for this style bike and I couldn't get it setup where I was comfortable. I ended up swapping the stock handle bars for some longer "ape hanger" style bars which were able to get me comfortable and look pretty cool.Overall I think this is a great middle of the road cruiser for the money. The bike is more stylish and components are higher quality than department store bikes and it costs about half what similar big name bikes go for at a local bike shop. If you aren't comfortable assembling and making minor repairs and adjustments to a bike, I would either get a bike at a local bike shop, or make friends with the folks there and pay them to assemble it and set it up for you.

el envío fue rápido el empaque perfecto y el ensamble sencillo, en cuanto a la calidad es buena y el diseño insuperable, el desempeño tiene algo que resaltar, el modelo de una sola velocidad es demasiado ligera de pedalear , apenas aumenta ligeramente la velocidad y las piernas giran si ninguna oposición y esto hace que los pies casi se salgan de los pedales, "se siente como si pedalearas el aire" , yo elegí ese modelo y no me siento cómodo al manejarlo, "en un paseo tambien necesitas algo de velocidad de ves en cuando" recomendaría quizá las de 3 y 7 velocidades y la de una solo para pasear a muy baja velocidad.

I'm pretty happy with this bike so far. I purchased the 3speed model. Assembly is super easy...it is not an exaggeration that it took no longer than 15 minutes. All it involves is attaching the front tire, seat post, seat, pedals and adjusting the handle bar angle. I can't imagine anyone having a hard time with assembly. The bike actually looks way cooler in front of you than in the amazon pictures. I have only had time for a 30minute ride so far but it is comfortable and smooth and the 3speed shifting is surprisingly good. I'll update after a month or so of riding for a longer term review of durability.

This bike is one of a kind. If you are a tall (6 feet and above)-this bike is one of the best and ergonomically fit bikes for you. The whole bike set up won't take one more than an hour and comes with all the necessary tools to put your bike together.The only issue I had with the delivery was the paint bottle that comes with it was left open and had spilled all over inside the box and one of the tire spokes was dented. It took me few hours to fix that. I have reached Sixthreezero about it and I am yet to hear from them. And yes because of COVID-19 shipment delays-i received it 3 weeks after I had put my order.

well what a beautiful machine, wow I'm 6 foot and its made for me, i went with the 7 speed and I'm sure glad i did, see i owned a 3 speed internal shift and they are a head ache to fix, Here's how simple this 7 speed Barrel is to set up, install the front wheel, the handle bars and the peddles and the seat, the gears were a breeze to adjust, its in the book, a 9mm socket and a philips screw driver, turn the barrel screw all the way in clockwise, set the shifter in 7th gear, undo the cable and pull tight, shift through the gears and back off the barrel screw 1/4 turn until chatter stops, this bike is a dream to ride, spring seat loves your butt,,,matte black paint makes you feel like your driving a stealth bomber...buy it, buy 2 ((-: ride on

The bike has a nice low rider frame. The frame is worth the purchase price. Perfect for customizing and upgrading.One thing I will warn you about is the rear wheel has to be installed perfectly straight to get the performance out of the long chain. On mine I had to put a washer in between the brake arm and the frame to stop the wheel from going of center when I tighten the brake arm nut. I also had to put a washer on the drive side of the axel to fill the drop out spacing up. I really like the bike. In fact I purchased another one.
