We recommend using the 10.1 oz tube for your tub to be sure you have enough. One 10.1 ounce tube is enough to caulk two bathtubs and one sink. The squeeze tube is only 2.8 oz.. **Q: Is this low modulus silocone?** A: It worked well in my bathroom. My application does not require expansion. Think sink and shower. **Q: Can this be used on a hairline crack in the bottom of a bathtub?** A: You shouldn't even be using that tub if it has a hair line crack. The tub needs to be replaced. I'm assuming that the tub in fiberglass. It has probably developed a hair line crack because it was not installed properly to begin with. The area beneath the tub should be filled with spray foam insulation to provide support for the tub. Some builders even use sand, though I would not recommend that. I speak from first hand experience. We had purchased a house that was about 15 years old. There was a shower and whirlpool in the master bath and a fiberglass tub in the hall bath. My husband gets up really early, so he would shower in the hall bath to avoid waking me. He a big guy, not obese by any means, just a big guy...about 200 lbs. He was shower one morning and the bottom of the tub just gave way and he was standing about 4 " lower. The builder hadn't put anything under the tub for support. I guess the tub had probably been used previously for bathing children. It was a mess! It this tub had been upstairs there would have been major damage and a much larger cost for repairs. **Q: Does this have a bad smell that lingers?** A: No ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very happy with the product and the results it produced. I hope it lasts. I[m sure it will. *by T***R on 20 November 2025* Very happy with the product and the results it produced. I hope it lasts. I[m sure it will. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ SHOWER *by V***O on 4 August 2026* WORKS AS EXPECTED. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Intense Fumes Lasted a Long Time, But Good Product *by F***R on 27 June 2020* I had to re-cault my own rental kitchen sink only 8 months after the plumber did it using DAP that was not 100% silicone. I'm a woman who has never caulked anything before in her life. The hardest part was removing the old caulk. One thing you need to know is that the fumes from this product are intense. Because there were some huge gaps I had to fill, the fumes lingered for about 4-5 days afterward and I wiped the area every time I ran water because I felt that the job hadn't cured yet if there were still fumes. After 2 weeks, I performed a touch-up, putting more caulk on top to seal tiny gaps that had formed. All in all, this appears to be a really good product, but I think that next time caulk, I will get a caulk gun. I had to use 3 of these small tubes for my job and squeezing them isn't the best way to get an even bead, especially as the tube runs low. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.kr/products/336839537-sealants-and-adhesives-281-advanced-silicone-2-kitchen-and-bath](https://www.desertcart.kr/products/336839537-sealants-and-adhesives-281-advanced-silicone-2-kitchen-and-bath) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Korea* *Store origin: KR* *Last updated: 2026-10-16*
